Not a bit. My fiancee has never smoked, done drugs. He drank a bit in college, but it just wasn't something he enjoyed. He is one of the most exciting people I know. I think it is the sum of all of life's experiences that make a person exciting, interesting, etc.

I go out for drinks each week, i dont mind cigarettes but i dont smoke and i've tried marijuana and feel its relatively harmless (less harmful thatn alcohol i believe)

I'm not boring (so i tell myself), but then i still wouldn't be boring if i didnt drink, smoke or anything else. It gives me a (small) experience of the world and has allowed me to contribute my tupenny bit to the conversation.

i've never smoked, don't think i've ever even seen a drug I even refuse to take normal medication unless forced. I never drinked till I was 21 even though 19 is the legal age (never been drunk though). i've never been in a bar. only gone to a club once and did shit all but sit in the corner. never been on a date, never been invited to a hs/college party, skiped my prom........

many many other never's that I haven't done. But it doesnt' mean i'm boreing. (to others ) It just means. that's not my thing.

Well I have a freind who was on Cocain and verious other drugs... He made lots of money dealing the stuf as well, over $100k A YEAR But he had lost a few friends and taken a few lives for the stuff and that is when he basically said NO MORE..... and has been clean and sober since...

Narcotic Drugs don't make people Interesting. They make people STUPID. Most of the Them do distroy brain cells, wich do not relenish themselves and grow new ones...

they do make people do things that they wouldn't normally do: Mugging, Steeling and Murder just for the money to get more Drugs

Hell nah. If you wanna be straight edge, that's perfectly cool. Some of the people I hang out with are complete stoners, some are total straight-edges, and some are in between(That's me). It's just a personal choice. Frankly, the people who are boring are the ones who feel they need to drink and/or smoke to be accepted.

I don't smoke or do drugs, and never have. I do drink, but only here and there, and not much given my drive home is a fairly long one. It doesn't change anything about me, definitely not in those terms. Except when i do get drunk, like everybody, I tend to make an ass out of myself.
The people I know who do seem less boring when they're drunk, don't become less boring for the better, but greatly for the worse. I'd prefer boring to what I end up with in their cases.

No, the substances you take are not that big a reflection of your character. Still though most of the people I know who never tried anything are, if not boring, fairly unadventurous.

People are the way they are, whether they smoke(I smoke like a chimney), drink(very rarely), or do drugs(I love you Mary Jane) has nothing to do with it.

However, people who automatically hate all smokers, drinkers, and stoners piss me off. Yeah, I smoke weed, that doesn't make me a stupid, dead-end junkie with nothing worthwhile to say.
