College_geek said:Your post reminds me of what I'm going to have to do in a week. Not looking forward to the studying. What subject are you studying?
Still on winter break myself, UMass has a winter session all through January, so I go back next Sunday. I'm a psych major, myself, so that's what I'd be studying when I'm not on Lit or playing WoW. ^_^()SJGuy said:A couple communications classes. This is shaping up to be a long semester. What about you?

Are you sure you're not counting?SJGuy said:That's pretty sweet. We're a week in to the semester with another 14 left (I'm not counting).
College_geek said:Are you sure you're not counting? What school do you go to in Jersey?
Is that Pennsylvania? Pittsburg? Philadelphia? (I have a weird interest in learning about where people study, maybe since I really only know about the schools in MA.)SJGuy said:My last year of community before I go to PSU next fall.

Aww, the middle of nowhere sucks, but I guess the bright side is that you have the two big cities to choose from. =/SJGuy said:Penn State is at State College, Pa. It's in between Philly and Pittsburgh, better known as the middle of nowhere.

That's more than I ever do, so don't feel bad. I'm basically between NYC and Boston (yeah, Springfield's right below Amherst, but that's not really thrilling), so I never go anywhere.SJGuy said:That is true, but I think it's 3 or 4 hours away from both. Sort of limits it to a weekend trip.

Haha, I don't really go anywhere. I'm one of the least social people I know, but I'm hoping to go to NYC with a friend of mine for the first weekend of spring break. Hopefully it'll work out. *crosses fingers*SJGuy said:I know what you mean, it gets boring hitting the same places over and over. Pittsburgh should provide a small change of scenery, though.

Still locked away studying?![]()
Hmm...messing around how? That can have so many meanings.SJGuy said:I try to get out a bit, only because I can't stand staying in the same place for too long. Hopefully NYC does work out for you, though. I had fun the couple times that I went there.
Not so much studying as just messing around now.
College_geek said:Hmm...messing around how? That can have so many meanings.Just messing around as in hanging around before bed? Or something more Lit related.

SJGuy said:Unfortunately, I'm stuck studying on a Friday night. If anyone's up to chatting, feel free to shoot me a message on ICQ or Yahoo. I'm a 22/m from South Jersey and should be on for the majority of the night.
Hope something good is on...usually at this time of night there isn't, but maybe you got lucky. ^_^SJGuy said:A little of both. Watching TV while exploring some of the other Lit forums.

Calvin said:I feel for you... but not much... I went through the same thing in the same town at the same college.....
you could always head up the road to Bellefonte to party... as long as it is before 7 Pm.... lol
of course... now that I have read all of the posts, I see that you were only talking about State College.... which is actually a great area if you like wilderness stuff....
You should put some pictures in the am pics forum.SJGuy said:Not really, it's just on for background noise really. I'm putting more effort into going through the forums.
