BORDERLINE is a 1962 slasher-sex buffet by Lawrence Block.
Five or so people collide at Juarez, Mexixo. One is a gamble, one is a serial killer, one is a teenage hippy chick, one is a new divorcee, plus a crew of collateral characters. Just about everyone ends up dead, throats cut with a straight-razor.
It looks to me like it violates plenty of LIT rules, especially underage sex and snuff. It got published and Amazon sells it.
The whole thing is a necklace of sexual encounters, torture, and graphic slaughter. I don't recommend reading it unless you like ultra-noir. That said, Lawrence Block writes way better than anyone at LIT. I read Black went to Mexixo to study its sex clubs up close. In 1962 he was 24.
