Boones Farm Wine on a Tuesday

While perusing my local purveyor of intoxicationg beverages, I stumbled across a blast from the past. Boones Farm wine! Out of pure reminiscense I had to buy a bottle.( I had the 3 dollars to spare) Strawberry Hill
SO now it is a Tuesday night and I am sitting by the puter sipping what barely passes for wine and remembering.. Anyone else remember Boones Farm..

OMG...yes..haven't thought of that stuff in years..in high school I thought it was great stuff! Thanks for the memory..made me laugh at the antics I remember after an evening of fine wine back then!

Man I haven't had that stuff since college over 25 years ago! We used to buy it by the case. Tell me does it taste as good now as it did then? (I doubt it!)

I have a bottle of Boones on my dresser (don't ask why we have it there.. we just do ).. not sure what kind it is. The bottle was in my SO's truck when I met him.

He says he thinks it was 9th or 10th grade prom that it was bought for. (His date ended up being easy.. the wine wasn't needed ) and he has been out of high school for 16 years.

I wonder if it gets better with age

It was terrible, sweet and cheap... now 3/4 of the way through the bottle its not so bad!

omg kitte...i'm zipping around in wal-mart the other day....zoomed past this display....my basket went....irkkkkk.......fucking wal-mart has every "flavor" of boone's farm ever made.....i got tickled looking at it....actually had my hand on a bottle....then i looked around....and thought....no fucking way i'm letting anyone see me with that at the checkout register.....but it was truly...this blast from the past...

we used to get.....i liked Tickled Pink......my friend liked Strawberry Hill....so we'd each get a bottle....and DOWN it in the car...before we went out....<shudder>.....the thought of consuming it now....gives me that lil erppy put your hand to your mouth feeling.....but....jesus.....that stuff rocked.....less than $2 a bottle back then i think.....

I had that same aww lets walk down memory lane with a bottle of cheap ass wine several months ago myself, Kitte

I rarely drink, so it doesn't take much to get me a lil tipsy ..... so I sat online one day and drank the full bottle on an empty tummy ....... Not only did I get one heck of a headache from it ....... but I'm still hearing how I changed my msn nick from 'kitty' to 'Hornyyyyy kitty' as if that wasn't bad enough, I persisted in telling knock knock jokes that I hear from my ten year old son all the time, to all my online friends.
