Bookmarking a story partway through?

For a longer story, is there any way to 'bookmark' your spot partway through a story for when you call it up later? Right now, you have to go from the start and find where you left off. It would be nice if there was some way to mark that spot.

I've run into a similar problem and I don't think there's a way to mark a particular page where you'd like to start again. My solution is to bookmark the story and then make a note on a 3"x5" card indicating the page where I left off. If anyone else has a better solution, I'd like to hear it.

Depending how you are reading the story...

1. Online via the website, there is a bookmark function but I don't know if it saves your place.

2. Via the Lit Android App, when you click on a story and read part way the story will be placed in you current reading list and it will go back to the place you left off.
