A while ago I saw a book which was basically a review of Victorian brothels in Edinburgh.
Does anyone know what it might have been called?

James Boswell's diaries were said to be, basically, a lecher's review of the local brothels and taverns. I'm not sure if that's what you mean though.

Oh and according to wiki, a directory of brothels and prostitutes was published in 1775, but I don't know the title.
