Hey guys,
Just wondering if any of you have a postal bed. (you know the kind with the long poles)

and if you do what is some of the most erotic bodage positions have you used?

I would like to try some new ideas with the hubby and wanted to know if anyone had some really cool ideas.

Hey there cutie...hope you mean 4 post bed, a postal bed sounds like an insane bed(going postal)..at any rate we have a wooden futon frame and we use silk scarves-I love being blindfolded with my hands tied together and tied to the top of the bed...then with my legs spread wide and tied at the ankles...Nothing like feeling helplessly exposed and submissive,he can tease and watch my responses at his leisure...mmmm

Now that is a wonderful invention: the four post bed. Some timlessly wonderful Ds positions would include:

1.) Tie the woman's wrists to the headboard posts (in whatever fashion you prefere). Next, tie her ankles to the same posts (if she's flexible enough). If you place a pillow (or other similar object) under her butt to help make her comfortable. In this position, she is left open for your imagination.

2.) The standard spread eagle (each appendage tied to a different post). Not too creative, but you can't beat the classics when ya get down to it.

3.) Another one would be having the woman kneeling in front of the bed. Tie her knees (spread of course. This may be a good time to bring out the spreader bars) to the bottom area of the posts (the frame). Have her bend forward so the top half of her is lying flat on the bed. Tie her hands behind her back or to the footboard posts. This position makes for good rear entry and "surprise" intercourse.

I'm suer there's a lot more that could be done, but at this time I can't think. It's getting late. LoL. If I remember more I'll post 'em.

Earthgodess; Oops! my mistake, does sound pretty insane huh lol. As for the handcuffs good idea, but wouldn't have anywhere to hook them without it scratching the bed, but thanks for the ideas. Tiggs your suggestions were cool may have to try the one for anal never tried that one out. Any other suggestion please post and let us know ever little bit makes it spicer thanks guys and gals.

Yes I will get the fluffy cufs we have the velcro now but will have to try hand cuffs the way you are talking about. And yes I would like to know how much a spreader bar would be too. That could be really cool. Thanks everyone you've given us some great ideas to ponder and some more to consider.

Lacking posts or rails on our bed, my husband and I have had to be a little creative. We own several pairs of Rachel's cuffs. (I think that's what they're called) They're webbed nylon cuffs that attach around the wrists or ankles with Velcro, and have a clip thing that attaches to a long, adjustable strap with a loop on the other end. Anyway, you simply slip the loop end around each corner of the bed frame, hook up the wrist and ankle restraints, and you're in business!

Before we had a bed with posts my wife and I used a long (About 6 feet) piece of rope under the mattress, with a silk scarf tied to each end for the actual restraint. Her weight on the mattress held the rope, and the scrves comfortably restrained her. You can used a similar setup for the ankles to get that "Classic spread eagle" if desired.

Skitten - if you look in a lot of the bondage sections of online stores or I'm sure there is a store near you, they have something similar to what skibum was describing. You put the "rope" (or whatever it is) between the mattress and hook the arms and legs into restraints.

Let me try to help out here I happen to know skitten and maybe I can paint a better picture here.
4 post bed we have and tried the velco ties like discribed with the 3 foot webed rope, for the spead eagle deal, we have a soild wood headboard so tieing off above the head I just don't know how to do.
so of the sugestions like the one at the foot of the bed are good and will be tried, we just want to get a little crazyer and if I can build something to attach to the tops of the post and remove them after play I would love to come up with something like that. The very top of the posts go into the posts with a dowel rod so i can remove them and place something there.
I have thought of maybe one of those rubber coated wires around all 4 post then that would open alot of poss.

In the camping and/or automotive section of your local Department store, you'll find tie downs made from material similar to a web belt.

You can loop one around each post below the headboard, and bring the ends up between the mattress and headboard and tie into a loop that won't move from side to side. Handcuffs or scarves can then be secured to the loop (or loops) to tie the victims hands above the head in the center of the bed.

The tie downs with ratcheting mechanisms can be pulled tighter than plastic coated wire and will probaly mar the finish less. If necessary, two or more can be connected end to end to span the circumference of the bed.

The ratcheting type can also be used to stretch a victim tightly by small increments if such is desired, as long as you remember that they can exert a great deal of force if over tightened. (I've used the big 3 inch cargo strap as an engine hoist. The smaller ones are probably capable of lifting about 250 lbs or so.)

Four of them attached to dowels in place of the newel decorations might be able to suspend a victim above the bed if done carefully.

Thats it WH , Thats what we were trying to find out I never thought of that and a have tons of those tie downs and it would work great thats the shit I wanted to hear a way to do something different.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, but this is what I usually do when I'm with a woman who wants to be a bound submissive:
