bon scott. he is the dark god of hard rock. brian johnson is just the guy who took his job. hail satan!

also, he's got big balls. i love ac/dc. you got a problem with that?

i like them both too, but i prefer bon scott. he has more personality or at least it shows up more in the music.

plus, he actually wrote a little bit. i may be wrong, but i don't think brian johnson can say that.
 
What kind of question is that? That's like asking who's better David Lee Roth or Sammy Hagar? Of course it's the original, the other guy is just a replacement.

I think in the case of both AC/DC and Van Halen, they were better musicians after their new frontmen arrived, but they lost a little in personality.

tb4p: a little? a lot. i like post bon scott ac/dc, but i love ac/dc with him in it. of course, i like my music no thrills. that's just me.
 
Disagree totally about the comparisons given.

Sure we all like Dave with VH, but Sammy did an awsome job, and they had most of their hits with him.

Brian Johnson same thing.

I'd have much more fun picking on the redhead than talking about Sam, and Dave.

Bon made AC/DC what it is today. Brian carries the torch quite well. I love'em both.

The "hits" were Top 40 pop crap (at least the VH ones were). Both Van Halen and Sammy were better before he joined them (and he's better now without them).

As for Bon and Brian, the biggest difference is the Brian's still alive and singing.
