The thing that sticks out most in my mind was the very first sex scene. They were getting married in a private ceremony in his house and he couldn't wait to fuck her. In the middle of the priest going through the vows he takes her right there. The priest was young and super embarrassed but rushed through it.
The backstory, which I am a little less sure about. He was a body guard working for her father. He had to protect her until a certain time. She was fully off limits during that 6 ish year contract and even the father kind of knew he waiting until the day he could have her. He basically kidnaps her and forces her to marry him. She's into it because she has always been attracted to him but had little say in the matter.
Eventually the story ends with them christening one of their children in the same home with the same priest. They don't have sex in front of him but he's clearly stressed them might at any time.
