I mean really 47 uses for allen/hex heys sounds like an absurd idea. I think Riley is the brains of the show ans can barely tolerate being around the bumbling idiocy of Villa. I mean really what carepenter wheres a 90$ sweter to the construction sites?

Actually, Bob Villa left This Old House in order to cash in on endorsements. When he was offered the Sears gig and a few others, The PBS station in Boston thought it should be considered revenue for the show/station. Bob took the money and ran and then started his various syndicated shows. So, believe it or not, Bob blew them off not the other way around.

Bob does have the usual architect's skill of WIIFM and I am sure his bank account stomps Norm's and Riley's.
