And I'm thinking if I were having this sandwich right now I might use tahini instead of butter or mayonnaise, or maybe even a nut butter, cashew: avocado's kissing cousin. I'm debating whether I need the tomato or not. I have lost track of what letters this would be......

Plus- lettuce, especially iceberg is neutrally flavored, there for the cool, crisp crunch. Pointless to put that layer between your taste buds and the tomato.

I'm not a big bacon fan, but I love a BLT. This time of year I keep a few packs of bacon, cooked, in the fridge for just such occasions. Of course, I go over to Mrs. Savage the Elder's to cook the bacon because I don't like to make a mess in my kitchen.

Hiya Elle! I just found a recipe that uses avocado and cashews blended after an overnight soak as a mayo replacement. Sounds yummy!
