Blonde or Brunette?

Which is preferred? and which are you?
I only really ask because I recently put my profile up here...with two pics. One with my natural hair and the other with a wig. I've been getting a sh*tload of emails, and it seems that most prefer the natural. But, I wonder if it is just my coloring(that I look better as a brunette), their personal preference, or if brunettes just have a bigger 'following'?
Oh, and damn...I forgot about redheads. Now I'll have to search through the halloween bin and see what kinda response that gets.
Ahhh, the little amusements of my life. What would we do with out them!?!

I am naturally a dark brunette and have hated all of my life. So a few years back I changed it too a red copper and I love the look a little more work with dying it once a month, but in my opinion it looks much better than that damn dark brown ever did. The hubby thinks it is totally erotic and cool he loves it and wants me to keep this look.

In my youth, I was a natural dark auburn-redhead; unfortunately, we go grey early in my family. I wasn't ready, and am the world's worst at getting to the hairdresser, so I went a kind of ash blonde. I had no problems there attracting attention.

I went back to the auburn (again no problems), but have decided to hell with it. Now I'm silvery-grey, and my current lover likes it a lot. Go figure . . . I could have done this years ago, and saved a bundle.

I'm a natural blonde (don't make me prove it!) and I would have to say that there are times when I would give my left....uh...arm to be any other color but blonde. When you are blonde and female people tend to talk slower and use smaller words with you, naturally assuming that you are a complete idiot and cannot possibly be expected to cross the road myself, much less listen and comprehend an entire conversation. To say nothing of the fact that some men (none who would read this post I'm sure) think that blondes are easy and will roll into bed with the first man that winks. Well, thank you very much I prefer to pick every 15th man (my lucky #).

At any rate, I do have blonde hair and after my 23 years with it I am accustomed to it, so any change would be quite a shock. I have been told that I have what I like to refer to as "police car hair". It just pulls up and parks anywhere! *insert laughter here*

I finally got a scanner.... so I may be sending in a pic sometime soon.... not that anyone will go see it, but hey!.. could be fun!

I haven't fantasized much about becoming a blond but I have at times wanted to be asian... if that counts for anything.

I am a brunette.... (the same dark brown shade the chick in the movie "Jade" has... but with a touch of auburn/red in the summer in the sun.)

I have no preference for hair color of whom I am with with the exception of really really dark hair. I prefer medium or lighter colored brunettes (as opposed to black hair), and all shades of blond and red hair.
I hope that doesn't make me sound like a picky asshole but that is my taste.

I'm a natural blonde. I love it!! I've recently grown my hair longer, and one length. For some reason I'm attracted more to blondes. But Angie Harmon (the brunette lawyer with the great voice on 'Law and Order') sure gets my attention!!

I was born a very pale blonde, as age came about I went to Strawberry blonde, now I am a dishwater blonde, but i highlight it every 3-4 months. I recently did a very bad highlight job, and had to correct it. Now i am back to dishwater blonde with some soft red tones.

I will never do that again. lol

I probably would go to a light ash blonde but i really don't like it when my roots start showing.

Very very dark hair here...almost black. I imagine it's from greek/italian background.

When I was a teenager I did something really stupid, tho'...highlighted my hair w/blonde streaks. Not one of my best moments...I looked like a skunk!!!

But since then, I'm back to normal...no oddball colors here.

My preference in guys...doesn't really matter to me, altho' I'm not big on red hair. The ex-husband had red hair...kinda wigs me out just to think about it.

I'm brunette - or as hubbie puts it "shit brown." But I tend to like it with a mahagony tint to it so I sneak out & get it colored every once in a while.

He is 1/2 Japanese, so he has very dark brown/black hair.

I never really had a preference in regards to blond or brunette, but didn't ever find myself attracted to a red-head. Go figure.

I have to admit that I have a thing for women with dark hair. A woman with raven black hair sure can make me think naughty thoughts!

But then again I don't choose women by that, because if I did, I'm sure I would be loosing out on a lot of great people!

Wow... I've been blonde, brunette, redhead, and a zillion variations. At one point in high school I had my hair dyed half blonde, half black (don't ask). I'm naturally a blonde - I'm a strawberry blonde in my toddler pics. I'm now a reddish-blonde, courtesy of Feria #94.

Melody - I prefer the blonde pic. I'm not sure if it's the color I prefer or the cut of the wig, but I think that's a fab look for you (though the real you is awesome too. ).

Until very recently I was blonde, I dyed my hair dark brown last week and both me and bf love it, previously I have been just about every colour you can imagine, I was told that 'plum' suited me but 'flamingo pink' and 'pillar box red' didn't. Unfortunately I don't think that those kind of colours would be appreciated very much at the place where I work.

I used to love men with long blonde hair, my current man has short black hair, I particularly like Antonio Banderas style hair in 'Interview with the Vampire'.

I think I have a hair fetish.

I tend to favor brunettes, but I have known many women that made blonde or red hair work for them very nicely. But since my "first" and my wife are both brunette, I have to say that is my favorite.

Melody, the brunette pic is the best (not that you made it easy to notice color!)

SierraSky and I must be twins, except I don't put any dye in mine now that I'm at dishwater stage. The sun lightens it a little in the summer, but I do miss the days of my youth with natural pale blonde hair. Always got lots of attention. Especially in countries where the normal coloring was very dark.

My preference? Blonde for me. Never had much of a problem with people assuming I was stupid because I was blonde. For guys,I prefer any color but clown orange/red.

I also tend to favour brunettes. I don't really know why.
But I can tell you, that when I see a beautiful brunette walking on the street I just can't keep my eyes from her. And as a result I always make such an ass out of myself, walking into a street light, or tripping over whatever is in my way. The result is always the same. You guessed it I was Brunette and decided after consuming a bottle of wine at a friends house that it might be fun to be blonde. Guess what she happened to have a bottle of blonde dye in her bathroom cupboard and I came home blonde!!
After Hubby and everyone else got over the shock we decided that I looked better so I've been blonde ever since.
In my younger days I had pink hair for a while. I was young it was the late 70's when Punk rock was big over here and oh hell I was young ok -))
