I have been thinking about doing one.. but have wondered ... if you write it... will they read?

Do you blog? Do you read blogs? What blogs do you read? Where is your blog and do you get many readers or is it just a way to your thoughts out?
What kind of blog is it? Sexual, personal, family, pet? Tell us all about it.

I would love to hear people's thoughts on this.

When JE was still up, we had a Journal feature, where each member could start a journal, record their thought, feelings, whatever. You had the option of locking it and using for your own personal diary, or leaving it open where anyone on the site could read it. I loved it and used mine at least weekly, and yes I left it open and the views were quite high.

I think they're a good idea, and have thought about searching for a journal site to do it again... it really helps me to put my thoughts and feelings down.

Thanks for the input baby. Blogging however is a bit different in that you set up your own blog, some even have their own address, and you can have comments, picture area, you name it. You can get a creative as you have time for. The journaling is a great idea, this takes it one step further and allows people to comments on each post you make.

so did the journal at JE... just like a blog... could add pics and people commented.. it was your own personal area.

Ahhhhh ok... just didn't know much about that. There are journal areas and then there are blog areas... Had no idea it was like that.
But this would get a bigger list of people to read it as if you put it on blogger by google or if you get your own web address for your own blog. It seems to be the major thing that many people are doing. Was just wondering how many people on lit were doing it and if so how and where...

Thanks again for your thoughts.

I have a private online journal now and have been thinking about a blog that could be shared. I just don't know how I go about setting one up. Having control and my own address would be cool.

Anyone with advice?

www.myspace.com

blog site that has been getting popular lately. Only reason i'm there really is to expose my stepbrother as the liar he is since his profile is a pack of lies. "blogging" doesn't really interest me all that much though.
