Blog copying our stories

I just found a story of mine on this website:

eroticstories-vaganza.blogspot.com

I am pretty sure that the blog owner has harvested the story from literotica and posted it in their blog without asking my permission. Also, as far as I can see, nowhere in the three parts of the story am I credited with being the author.

I'm not going to get myself in a twist over this, but I'm just wirting this to warn you other literotica authors about it. There's a lot of stories on this blog, many of which I recognise from literotica. Most of the ones I've checked don't mention any author names.

As far as I can see, the blog owner doesn't alter the stories at all, but if you are concerned about your work being on this site, uncredited and without permission, you might want to check it out.

PM Laurel (not an email), and let her know. Make sure you include a link. She'll take care of it for you. :)

In just a quick scan, I saw one that was edited by Mistress Lynn, and one with an author's note at the bottom by DG Hear.

It looks like he just stole all the Valentine's Day Contest stories.

eta: I let Laurel know, and she's on top of it. :)

I just wanted to confirm that we will file a complaint about this blog, but it would also be helpful if as many people as possible could go to the Google abuse form for Blogger and BlogSpot and file a complaint about the blog:
http://help.blogger.com/?page=troubleshooter.cs&problem=&contact_type=main_tos&Submit=Submit

Because Google requires a DMCA notice, you may be better off filing a spam complaint, as this user is stealing stories and using them to promote other sites, which is spam.

Thanks and we will also file a copyright complaint with Google. :)

I answered the few questions on the form and submitted it under spam. Thank you for your support.

DG I posted a comment on your story he stole and told the world he's a thief. Don't know how long it will stay there though.

Probably not very long, because I don't think the stories will be there for much longer...

At least DG got credited for writing the story, although it's still wrong that the story was posted without consent.

BTW, if you want to know how rediculous this situation is, read a few lines of the blog's most recent story, Wiwin & Anisya. It's obviously a crappy computer translation of a story written in another language. If you type: "Wiwin Anisya Bandung" (minus quotes) in to google, you'll get results of the story in its original form.

This person will apparently pad their blog with anything they can get their hands on.

It's on each chapter of both DG's stories now. ;)
The funny thing is I'm just an old guy that writes a few stories. I enjoy it as a past time and have no intention of doing it for profit. In most cases if a person would ask to post one of my stories, I would probably let them (depending on the site) but STEALING IS WRONG.

Giving credit to the author was fine, but does not make it right. If I stole a donut from the bakery but when asked, I said "I took it from Dunkin Donuts," does not make it right.

Thank you to Jeb, Lynn, Manu and others for your support.
With the upmost respect

Should I sue?

Are you serious? You are all up and arms because this web site stole a mere story? Are you kidding me?

How do you think I feel? Somehow they got a hold of photos of my wife, my mistress, and my girlfriend emerging from the water.

I'm pissed I tell you. Pissed!

Actually, the photos of my women look good, better than the ones that I took. Somehow with touch up and air brushing, they made my short, fat mistress look so much taller and shaplier.

Maybe, I won't file a complaint. By the way, that's me in the background sitting in the chair in the bedroom.

Should I sue?

I didn't see any of mine in there but I also reported the blog. These people make me ill.

Quite right, I didn't mean to imply otherwise. But it's just doubly insulting to see your work posted without being asked, and then not even being acknowledged as having written it. If I saw a story on a blog, and there was no author mentioned, I would just assume that the blog author wrote it. Not only has this person stolen our work, but they have also tacitly taken credit for it, IMHO.

The photos look like they've come from here: http://shop.literotica.com/category.php?page=1&a=literotica&ser_order=&order_type=&cid=631

Seems like this person's been copying stuff from all over the site. Seeing as how they're marketing photos for literotica, I don't know who owns them, the subjects, photographers or literotica (I suspect the latter), but whoever owns the rights should definitely complain, at the very least.
