What is one-man, state wrecking machine, Scott Walker, seeking to accomplish,
at the Smithsonian International Center for International Scholars ?

(pick up a pay check for keeping his horrible Trumpie mouth shut, while the adults speak ?)

Trump Picks Walker for Smithsonian

Ex-governor and college dropout will join board
of International Center for Scholars.

July 17, 2019

pResident Occupant of the Oval Office chair, tRump, has appointed
former Wisconsin governor Scott Walker to the Board of Trustees
of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in the
Smithsonian Institution

The center, as its website explains, is “a gathering place for
some of the best and brightest scholars and experts from
around the world. Their work is the centerpiece of our
activity and informs the nation’s public policy debates
with nonpartisan and relevant research and information.”

Walker never completed his bachelors degree at Marquette
University and as governor often seemed opposed to
scholarship. He favored drastic cuts in UW System funding
and tried to delete “the search for truth” from the guiding
principles of the state’s university system.

By contrast, the search for truth is a central concern of scholars
at the Wilson Center.

The WWC is a think tank-like institution created by The
Woodrow Wilson Memorial Act of 1968.

Congress stipulated that the WWC must commemorate Wilson’s
“ideals and concerns” and memorialize “his accomplishments.”
One-third of its funding comes from taxpayers.
Its president since 1999 is former Indiana Congressman
Lee H. Hamilton.

Since then, the DC-based WWC (WilsonCenter.org) has been
condemned by journalists, a Wilson family descendant, a
prominent Congressman, and other Americans for:

* Violating its Congressional mandate by ignoring vital aspects
of President Wilson’s record.

* Accepting large contributions from unsavory corporations.

* Giving an award to the undeserving Ahmet Davutoglu,
Turkey’s Foreign Minister.

The Center, said Bush, was “specifically chartered to preserve
[Wilson’s legacy] through their selection of programs, projects,
scholars, and award recipients.” That legacy included Wilson’s “
Arbitral Award on the Turkish – Armenian Boundary.”

President Wilson would have objected to “money raising schemes
specifically designed to bring home the spoils of economic gain at
the expense of higher ideals.”

MADISON, Wis. (AP) —

It's been a busy week for former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.

On Monday, he announced he would not run for office in 2022
because he had accepted a full-time position starting in 2021
with the Young America's Foundation.

And on Wednesday, President Donald Trump announced he
was appointing Walker to the board of trustees of one of the
world's most highly regarded think tanks.

Walker is set to join the board of the Woodrow Wilson
International Center for Scholars in the Smithsonian
Institute. It's a six-year appointment.

The Wilson Center describes itself as "the nation's
key non-partisan policy forum for tackling global
issues through independent research and open dialogue."

Its board is comprised of government officials and those
in private life, all appointed by the president.

One of the associated institutes of the Smithsonian made the
mistake of identifying itself, as being on the side of the victims
of Trump's concentration camps for kids.

The drawings and paintings made by children in the prisons, were to be
collected as artifacts, that the Smithsonian would preserve.

This made Trumpypants look bad.

(Trump relishes dishing out punishments.)

Scott Walker followed the ALEC program, and the coaching of the
Koch brothers to the letter. Walker has no problem with following
orders, that will result in misery, pain, and poverty.

Trumpypants is sending him on a mission.

One of the main reasons that tRump the Occupant sends his operatives
to departments under his control, is to dismantle the structures that
makes the department effective.

What will happen to the government-funded part of the institute ?

Nothing good, if tRump is involved.

(The tax-payer cash that should flow to the departments, seems to
end up in tRump's war chest, after the staff has been made
redundant, and resources have been strangled down to a trickle.)

"As governor, Walker sought to drastically cut funding for
the University of Wisconsin system. He was even caught
trying to remove “the search for truth” from the guiding
principles of the state’s university system."

"Despite his history, Walker was appointed to a position
overseeing scholarship."

"On Tuesday Trump appointed Walker to the Board of Trustees
of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in the
Smithsonian Institution."

WE GIVE YOU THANKS, O GOD, FOR GIVING US ANOTHER DAY.
THIS HAS BEEN A DIFFICULT AND CONTENTIOUS WEEK IN

IN THE PEOPLE’S HOUSE. IN YOUR MOST HOLY NAME,

I NOW CAST OUT ALL SPIRITS OF DARKNESS FROM THIS CHAMBER,

SPIRITS NOT FROM YOU.

I CAST OUT THE SPIRIT OF DISCOURAGEMENT,
WHICH DEADENS THE HOPE OF THOSE WHO ARE

I CAST OUT THE SPIRIT OF PETTY DIVISIVENESS,

APPROPRIATELY BEFORE THIS HOUSE.

I CAST OUT ANY SADNESS BROUGHT ON

POUR OUT, O LORD, YOUR SACRED OIL
AS YOU DID UPON AARON OF OLD.

ANOINT YOUR SERVANTS HERE IN THE

COMFORT AND RENEW THE SOULS
OF ALL IN THIS ASSEMBLY.

MAY YOUR SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND
PATIENCE DESCEND UPON ALL SO
THAT ANY SPIRIT OF DARKNESS
MAY HAVE NO PLAY IN OUR MIDST.

RATHER, LET YOUR SPIRIT OF COMITY,
OF BROTHER AND SISTERHOOD, AND
LOVE OF OUR NATION AND OF ALL
COLLEAGUES IN THIS CHAMBER.
EMPOWER OUR BETTER ANGELS
TO BE AT PLAY AND THE COMMON
WORK TO BE DONE FOR THE BENEFIT
OF ALL YOUR PEOPLE.

MAY ALL THAT IS DONE WITHIN THE

GREATER HONOR AND GLORY.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders made an appearance Sunday
at an exclusive Republican Governors Association-
hosted two-day retreat.

Her daddy, Mike Huckabee is an ordained
minister, and he left FOX TV for a religious
TV broadcast system- TBN He has not held
public office since 2007. They are both still
securely connected to the Trump Alliance.

Radical Christianist Mike Huckabee
(father of former Trump press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders)
interviewed by Fox's Heather Childers when the subject of Trump's
racism was broached. Huckabee's perverse defense was that...

"If Donald Trump had been a racist all these years, don't you
think it would have come out somewhere in the life that he's
lived which has been about as public as any elected official
has ever lived. And the fact is, a person doesn't just suddenly
become a racist at the age of 72, having not been one up
until that point."

Well, let's take a look at Trump's very public life to see for ourselves:

* He had a strict "no colored people" policy in his apartment buildings.

* He advocated the death penalty for the Central Park 5, even after they had been found innocent.

* He told business associates that he didn't want any black accountants.

* He refused to renounce KKK Grand Wizard David Duke.

* He said there "fine people on both sides" of the white nationalist rally in Charlottesville.

* He was an avid Birther.

* He imposed a ban on Muslim immigrants.

* He said that a Latino judge could not be neutral.

* He called black athletes "sons of bitches."

* He labeled Haiti and Africa as "shithole countries."

That isn't even a comprehensive list.

Trump did not suddenly become a racist.
He has been one for decades.

And he follows in the footsteps of his father who attended Klan
rallies in New York. This surely was not Huckabee's point, but
it tells the real story of Donald Trump's long-festering racism.

9/11 victims bill heads to Trump‘s desk after clearing Senate

The Senate cleared a measure Tuesday that would extend
a financial lifeline to thousands of victims suffering health
problems from the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

By the lopsided vote of 97-2, the Senate agreed to a House-

the 2001 attacks, while providing however much money is
needed to pay all eligible claims filed by Oct. 1, 2090.

Steve Stenger, the disgraced and soon-to-be-imprisoned former St. Louis County Executive, wants a judge know he is sorry for doing crimes and that he is now suffering from a "deep and constant feeling of remorse" — a description that stands in remarkable contrast to a recently-published trove of truly, incredibly corrupt shit this guy said while in office.

In May, Stenger pleaded guilty to federal charges related to a bribery scheme, and he's due to be sentenced this Friday. But thanks to a sentencing memo filed by prosecutors, we now know the county executive was perversely proud of his accomplishments as, well, a lazy conman.

"How 'bout that motherf—-ers?" Stenger allegedly said after winning re-election in November 2018, his comments captured on a secret recording. "I don't show up to the Council meetings. Connor Betts committted a mass murder.
(I am looking at the picture of him, with his sister.)
She followed her heart, and had a good life as a trans man.
Connor Betts attempted to follow local society's rules, even
as he rebelled them. He became twisted.

Nothing is more macho, than threatening the women that
reject a man, for being a man that makes it very clear,
that he hates women.

Let me take a guess- At heart, he was a trans woman!

What are the chances of two trans teens, in the same family ?

The world knows that trans-people are sometimes forced to hide the fact.
Exposure puts their safety and lives in danger, if their is no support for
them in the community.

There is much more pressure on a human being born as a man,
to keep it repressed.

There is nothing that the religious network hates more than
trans-sexual people, other than women that opt to abort a fetus.

There is nothing they value more, than a white heterosexual man.
A mass murderer has more value, than a member of the LGBT
community, in religion's eyes.

What are the darkside of the interwebs currently promoting ?
Thanks to Russian instigators, Racism, Hate. Guns. Violence.
Some insane version of America that never existed.

Dayton, Ohio, shooter Connor Betts killed his sister.
He killed a group of people that was diverse, and
intergrated.

Aug 08, 2019

The website Splinter is reporting new details about the sibling
of Dayton, Ohio, shooter Connor Betts, who was the first victim
in Sunday morning’s massacre that left nine people dead and 27
wounded. The sibling was initially identified as Connor Betts’
sister, Megan Betts, but a friend told Splinter Betts was a transgender
man who went by the name Jordan Cofer, used male pronouns and
appeared to be out to only a handful of people — and possibly
not even his family. It’s not clear whether the gunman knew about
Cofer’s gender identity, or whether it played a role in the shooting.
In a statement, the National Center for Transgender Equality said,
“Mass gun violence is an epidemic in this country and deserving
of swift and immediate action by lawmakers at all levels of government.
We join the nation in mourning for every community impacted by gun
violence.” In 2019 alone, at least 10 trans people have been murdered
in the U.S.

and deadnames him, all because his brother took away his
chance to live openly when he murdered him (and eight others) on Sunday

From the Advocate.

[One of the first victims] of a mass shooter in Dayton, Ohio,
was his sibling, a trans man named Jordan Cofer, according
to the National Center for Transgender Equality and a report
on the website Splinter.

Splinter writer Katelyn Burns concluded that Cofer was likely
not targeted for his gender identity because he was not out to
many, including his family. But Cofer, 22, used male pronouns
and identified as trans, according to friends of his who spoke to
Burns.

“Jordan was my closest friend,” an anonymous friend told Burns
in a Twitter direct message. “He identified with he/him pronouns
to people he trusted and knew would support him. Jordan was probably
one of the sweetest people you would ever meet, a true saint, but he
was also very scared constantly. He tried to give the best to everyone.”

https://www.advocate.com/news/2019/...ed-dayton-shooting-was-trans-man-jordan-cofer

From Medium.com

Jordan was the youngest of the nine people murdered at Ned Peppers
Bar in Dayton, Ohio. Jordan’s brother, Connor Betts, robbed him
of the opportunity to be remembered as he lived. As he wrote on
his Tumblr bio, he was a trans man with “a loving heart and way
too much work to do.”

Today Jordan is incorrectly memorialized in countless news stories
featuring high school prom photos taken from his mother’s Facebook
page. Jordan, who was studying earth and environmental sciences
and sang in the school chorus, had come out as transgender to just
a handful of people. The only people he told were those that he
could trust to support him.

"some say" Trumpism wanes at Sturgis bike rally

August 12, 2019

Did you see the tacky 'Build the Wall" trailer that
was driving around Sturgis?

He tried to get some friends who were selling Indian tacos
2 sell some of his Trump junk at their stand.

Was very offended when they just started laughing at him.

— Josey (@JoseyRider) August 12, 2019

The reality could simply be that other than obvious groups
like “Bikers for Trump” there isn’t really a actual, deep
ideological support for Trump among bikers, if a half
million people are a reasonable example. The reality
is that in a subculture that privileges individualism
and grouped non-conformity, MAGA hats are déclassé.

Although there were fewer fatalities than last year in Sturgis,
drug arrests mainly meth-related were nearly double.
Apparently there were more vendors than last year,
which is actually a bad sign if attendance was flat
over the ten days.

Sturgis, SD for Bike Week and all the vendors sell them.
This year, Putin riding bitch on Trump's Harley was the new design.
That one was really soul-crushing as it's the opposite of reality.

(annieli seems to be hinting that the Trump theme is a bit worn,
tired at the edges.)

The joke was over, a long time, ago.

Trump made an effort during the beginning, when he believed he had no chance.
His swearing and cursing, onstage, his ripping apart insider political figures, as
an outsider may have had appeal.

Trump believed he would return to his comfortable, cozy routine in NYC.
Now, Trump is working hard for Putin, ripping apart the network the
sustains many bikers that are veterans, and their racially intergrated
families.

(I have a feeling that the determined bikers that ride to Sturgis, are not
all that much fond of posers.)

Trump is the ultimate poser.

Nothing about him is authentic.

The group finally decided to end the Washington one after
what Bean describes as “unreal” arguments with Pentagon
police at the most recent Rolling Thunder. He and Muller
describe conflicts over traffic and parking and access that
have grown year by year. A partnership that started with
the first Rolling Thunder in 1987 — when some 3,000 riders
rolled in after seeing an ad in Outlaw Biker magazine —
has grown more complicated as the gathering grew massive
and security demands swelled in the wake of 9/11. Bean said
the Pentagon allows less and charges more, up to $50,000
for a morning’s use of its parking lots.

(In Trumpland, a dollar sign is pasted on everything-
see- Trump's gift shop in DC)

But as the beards have grown grayer, the ritual has changed
in both tone and economics, said Muller, the nonprofit organization’s
executive director. All those permits and porta-potties cost up to
$200,000, much of which has traditionally come from the sale of
vest pins and patches that commemorate each year’s gathering.
At the 2018 ride, the group sold only 50 percent of its inventory.

It hurts to go home with half of your stuff,” Muller said.
“A lot of these millennials that ride with us don’t know
what they’re for and they don’t buy [anything].”

- Artie Muller, the 73-year-old organizer of Washington’s
Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally

The group has counted a number of vocal supporters on
Capitol Hill. One of his strongest Senate allies, Muller said,
is Elizabeth Warren, the liberal Democrat from Massachusetts.

“She’s been very good to us,” he said.

'They' Is Here To Stay. Get Over It

We told Elsa that we would absolutely support their choice and
respect their wishes.

Elsa’s sister was fully on board too and is the first to correct me now
when I slip and use “she” instead of “they.”

(Which I still do sometimes, much to my own frustration.)

As we’ve shared news of Elsa’s decision with our friends
and family, they have been almost universally supportive —
something for which we’re incredibly grateful. Even people
who still haven’t quite wrapped their heads around the notion
of nonbinary gender, have been accepting of Elsa’s choice.
“I don’t understand it,” one acquaintance confessed.
“But I’ll respect it.”

And yet, as accepting as most people are, many still feel the
need to add, with varying degrees of consternation:
“I just have trouble with the fact that ‘they’ is plural.

I do understand why people still balk at the notion of referring
to individual people as “they” on the grounds of grammar and
clarity. Sure, using it can be a pain. There are times when I have
to perform all kinds of syntactical acrobatics to make it clear that
I’m talking about Elsa, singular, as opposed to Elsa and their friends
or Elsa and their sister. I have to use Elsa’s name a lot more. (See?)
It would certainly be a lot easier if English had a singular, gender-
neutral pronoun. But new ones like “xe” or “ae” and “hir” haven’t
gained widespread adoption, probably because it’s easier for people
to become fluent in new meanings for existing words (“web,” anyone?)
than to incorporate completely new words — particularly ones used
as frequently as pronouns. “They” is the best our language has got.

More to the point, it’s what my child, and countless other people
who feel constricted and excluded by the inflexibility of “he” and
“she,” want.

400th anniversary of American Slavery

American slavery began 400 years ago this month

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/08/14/magazine/1619-america-slavery.html

August 20, 1619

Point Comfort (Hampton), VA.

Isabella — (after months in captivity)
gave birth to William, the first black child born in the American colonies.

On or about August 20, 1619, Africans—kidnapped from their
homelands and brought to British North America—were brought
by force to Point Comfort, part of today’s Fort Monroe in Hampton,
Virginia. Since 2010, the city of Hampton and several organizations,
including Project 1619, have observed an annual African Landing
Commemoration Day.

The name of the Point Comfort landing place was just one of the
great and bitter ironies of the August 1619 disembarkation, which
led to the establishment of the British trans-Atlantic slave trade,
as well as slavery itself in the British colonies, and, subsequently,
in the United States.

The Point Comfort name derived from the first English settlers
finding “comfort” on this point of land in 1607. But in 1619, the
“20 and odd” Africans were inhumanely traded like chattel by
the captain of the ship White Lion to Virginia’s colonial Governor
George Yeardley and merchant Abraham Peirsey, and dispersed
to several other locations. Another irony was that 1619 also was
the year that a semblance of democracy came to Virginia, as the
colony held its first election for the inaugural House of Burgesses,
the forerunner of today’s Virginia General Assembly.

Hampton forum on first Africans to English North America
explores arrival, genealogy

May 29, 2019

The trail goes back centuries. It stretches across continents.
It tells a story of hundreds of Africans ambushed in their
native land and later imprisoned on a slaver galleon, the
San Juan Bautista, which also was ambushed.

Overtaking the galleon were English and Dutch privateers.
The latter, who sailed the White Lion, eventually came to
Old Point Comfort late August 1619, bringing only its crew
and “20 and Odd” Africans, as recorded by early colonist
John Rolfe.

“There is so much paperwork written about them.
There is some paperwork in Spain, in Angola, in
Bermuda, in Mexico … on just these 20 or so
Africans. The boat they were on was pirated …
it almost created an international incident between
Spain and England.”

“We are correcting the false narrative."

Trump's $19bn weekly deficit is stirring up future trouble'

Trump administration has said it will run up a budget deficit of $1trn
this year. A similar figure is expected for next year. Think about that
figure. It represents the US government spending $19.2bn more every
week than it takes in.

National debt in the US is running at $22trn, up $2trn since
Trump became president.

Trump said during his election campaign that he would do away
with deficits and even wipe out the national debt within eight
years. It has increased by $2,000bn since he took over.

Trump's administration is increasing spending, cutting taxes
and racking up ever-bigger budget deficits during an
economic boom, not a crisis.

Trump is booby-trapping the USA economy ?

given that during the good times, they are spending nearly
$20bn per week more than they are taking in."

The Rolling Stones Live—Not Sucking in Their 70s

The Stones kicked ass in a football stadium last night,
albeit with a setlist that rarely went beyond the most
obvious hits.

by Dave Segal • Aug 15, 2019 at 12:19 pm

Mick Jagger hasn't gained an ounce of weight since
“(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction”—last night's set finale,
of course—hit the charts. Mick Jagger is 76 and
coming off heart surgery, yet he is damn near a
perpetual motion machine onstage. Mick Jagger is
three years older than Donald Trump, yet the Rolling Stones
singer covered more ground in last night's two-hour set than
the dungheap in the Offal Office has done since stealing the
2016 election. It would not be a stretch to say that even at
his advanced age, Mick Jagger could've had his way sexually
with 80 percent of the CenturyLink Field crowd—conservative
estimate. And Sir Michael Philip Jagger can still sing his petite
ass off. He is truly an exemplar of rock-and-roll as an anti-aging
agent.

The (Rolling) Stones encored with “Gimme Shelter” and “Satisfaction,”
choices as predictable as a 5-star Jann Wenner review of a Mick Jagger
solo album. And yeah, they duly slayed, even though you've heard these
songs hundreds of times. Ultimately, we came for a honkin' nostalgia
wallow, and we went away as happy as Trumps in grift.
“Heaven” can wait.

bodysong comment- Trump is the newsfeed, just as
spam in the Monty Python spam song.

There is Trump in everything. Why is Trump in an article
about a Rolling Stones concert ? Trump put himself in there.
He uses their songs at his Hate Rally because he has a grudge
against them. They fired him. They tried to get him to stop.
He refused. They do not want to get involved in a court case.
Trump continues to entertain his Hate Rally with their songs.

What did the article say about Trump ?

Trump is old!
Trump has stolen the election.
Trump never had sex appeal.
Trump could never carry off a demanding physical job.
(that involves talent and endurance.)
Trump is a grifter.

Nearly everyone knows these things to be true.

What happened after the article was published ?

The Return of Officer Pepper Spray

However, the main cause of the overall scuffle in the 4pm melee
was simple: after wielding his pepper spray in the face of a protester,
the Captain drops his canister of pepper spray. In order to retrieve it,
he rapidly pushes back the protester in front of him, and the person
to his right punches the protester in the jaw in order to make more
space for the Captain to retrieve his pepper spray. In parallel, a second
officer uses his pepper spray to break up the fight — and 4 seconds later,
after the Captain retreives his pepper spray, he pops back up and sprays
the entire crowd again.

Wu said that having so many police present — many wearing riot gear —
set the “tone” for both sides Saturday.

Having that many officers from all across the region, including
paramilitary units from outside Boston, set a tone of tension/conflict
for civilians AND fellow law enforcement. We need to understand

DA Asks Mass. High Court To Intervene
In 'Straight Pride' Protesters Case

September 05, 2019

The dispute between Rollins (Suffolk County District Attorney Rachael Rollins)
and Sinnott (Boston Municipal Court Judge Richard Sinnott)
began Tuesday- when the Judge Sinnot denied DA Rollin's request
to dismiss charges in at least seven of the 36 cases stemming from
the parade.

On Wednesday, Sinnott held defense lawyer Susan Church in contempt
after he denied Rollins' office request to drop charges against her client,
who was a counterprotester. Sinnott had Church handcuffed and detained
for about two hours- because she began reading from case law suggesting
he had no authority to overrule Rollins' decision not to prosecute the case.

While her office has moved to drop charges against some of Saturday's
protesters, DA Rollins is still pursuing charges against those facing more
serious offenses.

Among them were three men arraigned Tuesday on charges of assault
and battery on a police officer. The men were ordered by a judge not
to set foot again in Boston except for required court appearances,
or else face jail time.

"Make no mistake: some people were appropriately arraigned and will
be held accountable for actions that put the safety of the public and
law enforcement at risk," DA Rollins said Tuesday.

A defense lawyer representing a protester arrested at the

and later released from custody Wednesday after challenging
a judge’s refusal to drop the charges against her client and
others as has been requested by prosecutors.

“The issue is that your honor does not have the authority to
prevent the district attorneys from entering a nolle pros,”
she said. “The case law is abundantly clear.”

A nolle pros is a notice filed by prosecutors indicating
they will dismiss the charges against a defendant.

She said the law is clear that the district attorney’s office
is within its rights and Sinnott cannot reject its requests.

“All I was trying to do was to read the law to the court,
and I was summarily arrested, handcuffed, brought down
to the holding cell, held there for hours — much of the day —
sat there wondering if I was going to jail that night, whether
I was going to see my children at dinner that night, what I
was going to do about my work and my clients, simply for
advocating for my client,” Church said.

Where did Trump learn to operate the Trump University scam ?

Rev. Jerry Falwell Sr.'s spawn

Liberty University insiders blow the lid off Jerry Falwell Jr’s
shady dealings: ‘Somebody’s gotta tell the freakin’ truth’

“We’re not a school; we’re a real estate hedge fund,” said
a senior university official with inside knowledge of Liberty’s
finances. “We’re not educating; we’re buying real estate
every year and taking students’ money to do it.”

January, the Wall Street Journal reported that in the run-
up to Trump’s presidential campaign, Cohen hired John
Gauger, a Liberty University employee who runs a private
consulting firm, to manipulate online polls in Trump’s favor.
Not previously reported is the fact that, according to a half-
dozen high-level Liberty University sources, when Gauger
traveled to New York to collect payment from Cohen, he
was joined by Trey Falwell, a vice president at Liberty.
During that trip, Trey posted a now-deleted photo to
Instagram of around $12,000 in cash spread on a hotel
bed, raising questions about his knowledge of Gauger’s
poll-rigging work. Trey did not respond to requests for
comment.

The school uses nondisclosure agreements to prohibit many
university employees or board members from openly
discussing what they’ve seen Falwell do.

“It’s a dictatorship,” one current high-level employee of
the school said. “Nobody craps at the university without
Jerry’s (Falwell) approval.”

Many Falwell confidants are concerned with where they
see that university tuition money going: into university-
funded construction and real estate projects that enrich
the Falwell family and their friends.

Under Falwell Jr., Liberty University is “a totally
dysfunctional organization,” one board member
wrote in an email reviewed for this article.
“Very similar to Trump’s White House.”

The Storm Area 51 event originated when Matty Roberts, 21,
started a satirical Facebook event called “Storm Area 51,
They Can’t Stop Us All.” The event is still listed on Facebook
as scheduled for September 20 and has two million RSVP’d
as attending. People are now being asked to attend the Area 51
Celebration on Thursday, September 19 at 8 p.m. Pacific instead.
This event is being held at the downtown Las Vegas Events Center
and is still happening. It’s coined as being the “Official Celebration”
for the Storm Area 51 satirical event.

An Alienstock event that was happening in conjunction with the
Area 51 raid has changed dramatically, Popular Mechanics reported.
Matty Roberts pulled out of the event, voicing concern that the
infrastructure wasn’t in place to make the event a success.
He’s no longer affiliated with Storm Area 51 and is now
having the Area 51 Celebration instead, in conjunction
with Bud Light.

Roberts said in a statement: “Due to lack of infrastructure,
poor planning, risk management and blatant disregard for
the safety of the expected 10,000+ AlienStock attendees,
we decided to pull the plug on the festival,” Deseret News
reported.

West has insisted that her Alienstock is still happening and
the real webpage for that event is AlienstockParking.com,
KTNV reported. The Festival is still scheduled for
September 19-22 in Rachel, Nevada, but Roberts is
no longer involved, citing concern it will be a
humanitarian disaster.
