Blind Date (Closed For Fizzter43)

Melody had turned 22 and a friend of hers got her to do a blind date, she didn't know anything but supposedly her friends friend had a brother, Melody had no idea what he looked like but would have a red rose on the table so she would know by that, he was meant for her, she got in a sky blue dress since it was a fancy restaurant. Her hair was down as she found the restaurant, gazing up to the sky as she walked in, she was nervous as hell, she had never been on a date before, she was in college for musical purposes Melody looked around and say the rose, going up to the table.

"Hello" She said shyly.

He smiled at her, as he looked up from the table, seeing his date in a beautiful Blue dress, as he was in a nice suit. Patrick was 21, and this was his first date ever, being set up by his best friend. He got up and smiled at Melody, pulling out the chair for her. "You must be Melody, I'm Patrick." He said looking for her. "I hope you like the rose Melody."

 

[Mayu]

She smiled looking at him kindly she sat down, everything seemed perfect,
looking at the rose then back at him. "Its nice to meet you Patrick, the rose,
is very beautiful" She picked it up and smelt the rose, smiling, "I guess we
know each other Thur friends" She giggled. "If you know what I mean" She
said sweetly.

He looked at her. "Yeah I know what you mean." He said as the waiter came over to take their drink order. Patrick ordered a Bottle of Wine, before he turned his attention back to Melody. "So maybe we should get to now each other some, you care to begin Melody." He said looking at her.

Melody looked at him and nodded, she was happy to talk to him, he was really
sweet. "Well lets see, im going to college for a music Field, since my whole
goal is to be a singer" Melody smiled "I love to travel and know japanese,
im easy to get along with and im always respectful"

He nodded. "I'm in Chemistry myself, hope to Graduate this year if everything goes alright. I enjoy the occasional game and would love to tour Europe afterwards. Can't find anyone to go with though." He said smiling at her, as he poured a glass of wine for both of them.

 

[Mayu]

She nodded "Im hoping to graduate this year too" She had a smile on her face
"Who knows we may graduate together, that would be really nice" She sighed
happily, she took her wine glass "We should make a toast" She said sweetly
"Do you want to do it or me? or we can both do it" She said.

He smiled at her. "You do it Melody. I'm no good at speeches." He said smiling at her, as they both raised their wine glasses, there food order, and being cooked as they speak.

 

[Mayu]

She nodded "Here is to the future and to us, I am hoping to spend time with you, to really know you and not by word of mouth by others, I hope our relationship takes off" She grinned as there glasses clinked together she took a sip of the wine.

He smiled at what she said. "Very nice Melody." He smiled at her taking a sip of his wine. "Care to tell me about some of the places you travelled to Melody." He said making conversation with her.

 

[Mayu]

She nodded "Well I spent 5 years in Tokyo, 2 months in Hong Kong, ive been most of the places here in the United States, I never really stayed in one place to long in the United States because with only one friend and no real reason to stay in one place I kept moving"

 

[Fizzter43]

"Sounds like you had an interesting life." He said smiling at her, as he took another sip of wine. "Never visited Europe?" He said looking at her. "Do you want to visit Europe?" He asked her trying to find out more about her.

 

[Mayu]

She shook her head "No I never went to Europe and yes id like to go one day, if I can find someone to go with, since I wouldn't want to go to Europe without taking someone with me, more fun that way and im done with being alone on vacations"

 

[Fizzter43]

"Yeah, I wouldn't want to go to Europe alone either, It would be fun with someone that I know, rather then just a lonely person by themselves or a single person in a big tour group." He smiled at her. "What about this Musical talent of yours, you sing or play an instrument?"

 

[Mayu]

Melody looked at him "I play the piano and I can sing, I know everything about the piano been playing since I was 5, but my voice ive been training it and I can sing opera now" She said sweetly. Running her fingers Thur her hair and thats when the waiter came with there dinner, serving it to them, she looked down. "Mmmm smells wonderful"

Patrick smiled at her. "Your right, it does smell wonderful." He said looking at her. "Your welcome to try my steak if you desire." He said smiling at her, taking a small bite of his supper. "Tastes wonderful as well." He said looking at her. "What does yours taste like, and is their a chance I can hear you play the piano or sing sometime in the future." He said taking another sip of wine.

Melody nodded and twirled the pasta against the fork and leaned over "Have a taste and see Patrick" She said sweetly as she put the fork in front of his mouth so all he had to do was just lean over. "And id love a piece of your steak, Im not really a meat fan but eat a good thick steak every now and then"

He took the pasta off her fork and smiled, it tasted wonderful. He smiled at her. "That was wonderful." He placed a piece of steak on his fork, and placed it in front of her mouth. "Try this, the best steak I have ever had." He said smiling at her, the date was going much better then he expected at the beginning of the evening.

She nodded and leaned over taking the steak in her mouth and loved the taste of it. "Wow its so tender" She relaxed as she sipped her wine again relaxing, running her hand Thur her hair, which she tried to stop doing that because she played with her hair when she was nervous, and realized it so she put her hands on her lap.

He smiled at her, as they ate their dinner, talking about small things but not alot since they were eating. They finished supper slowly, enjoying every bite. Once they were finished and the waiter took their plates away they were given a chance to think about if they wanted desert. "So Melody, do you care of dessert?' He said looking at her. "Maybe something to split?"

She nodded "I have enough room to split something" She looked at the
menu "What about the chocolate cheese cake with a chocolate covered strawberry?" She looked at Patric. "Unless you don't care for it, what ever you like "

 

[Fizzter43]

He smiled at Melody. "Thats fine with me." He ordered it for the both of them when the waiter came back, and it was delivered quickly along with the bill, which Patrick quickly took. "Tonights on me." He said smiling at her, as they both dug into the dessert.

She giggled some what he said about paying, she sighed a bit as she looked down at the cake and took a bite "I love chocolate cheese cake, they have the best around" She looked at them, soon the cake was gone and she dabbed her lips against a napkin and finished her wine.

Patrick smiled at her. "Yeah it was wonderful." He said smiling at her as they talked abit until she was ready to leave. He took the bill, as they walked towards the front together, he paid for it before they walked outside together. "I'll walk with you back to your place if you live close, unless you want to do something else tonight?" He said smiling at her.

She smiled "Well you could always stay at my place for a little bit, for some coffee or something, just to talk" She never believed in sex on the first date but she did believe in just hanging out with a man who was as good looking as him, she grinned.
