I know it has been a long, long time since I was here last but RL can be hectic at the best of times. I just thought I would make a comeback though with a new thread that people might enjoy.
If anyone has seen or read the manga or anime this is about Bleach, those who know of it I don't have to explain much but those who don't this is a very brief synopsis of it.
In this anime/manga there are spirits of two kinds (the good and the bad) the bad are called Hollows and used to be good until they lost what made their soul. There are things called Death Gods which stop these Hollows before they can destoy and eat the good spirits. It is hard to explain everything about the manga and anime so here is a link to explain better than I can:

Anyway. I had an idea about a new thread that is set in this world of Bleach but I have a few little rules.
- no main characters from the manga or anime (your own created character please)
- this will probably take place in Japan (but I was thinking that it might also take place around the world as well)
- no age limit (except being over 18 that is)
- every character has to have some sort of magical or mystical power. You can be all powerful if you wish to be but there has to be a downside to having so much power, like you use you life energy when you use whatever power you have and you can only use your main power once per day - any more and you are pretty much fucked)
- guns DO NOT work AT ALL
- swords work (if it is magical or mystical that is)
- you can have weapons (has to be mystical)
That is enough with the rules. Now for the fun part; the story line and ideas.
- The dimensional walls between Soul Society and Earth are being broken and they are slowly merging together.
- main character is a rogue Shinigami (although still a good person)
- Is set after where the anime series is now
- Main enemies are the last three of an ancient race that had been revered as gods. When they were no long being worshipped they slipped into the darkness to plot their revenge. Their power, although diminished from when they were worshipped is still enough to be ablt to tear down the dimensional boundaries (although it takes them a while to build up enough power)
- Minions (of the gods) are souls of the dead and Hollows.
