Ok so I've submitted my first story.

So how long will it stay 'pending' before it moves to a point where I can have everyone look at it?

Hmmmmmm..... I don't see any info on how this 'moves along'...

Hi dear,

It can take from a few days to a week or two before your story is posted onto the Litland site for all and sundry to read.

Have patience, it'll get there! ;)

BTW is this the same story as the one you sent me?

Dear LT,
Congratulations on submitting. A writer who has a story pending is called a "pendejo" around here. Be proud.

Yup! And the vocabulary has been edited a bit.

I'm too anxious.. a darned week, for crying out loud! But I ain't complaining. This site is the Mall of America of erotica, and for free. If this is the catch then so be it! :D

so... do you want or need my feedback or not?

sorry i was unable to get to it sooner.

*sigh*

Me too.

I submitted more than a week ago, and nothing yet!

It seems when there is a story contest the submissions tend to lag behind just a bit (they just finished the Earth Day Contest). So I suppose this isn't unexpected.

But damn it! I want my next story up!!!!

:D

on what i have now or on the version that is submitted?

Oh I can send ya the revised one, it isn't TOO much different... the vocabulary has been a bit changed... is it wise to include as an attachment to a post..?

...okay so i wont continue with the comments i've begun on this one.

i guess it's only wise to send it as an attachment if you have a clean virus free computer. i will endeavour to use my own virus checker on the attachment when it arrives.

Oh, my changes aren't THAT drastic... don't erase your comments! But here's the final cut :)

Whoops! Silly me.. lemme send it via email..lol... sorry .. one too many diet cokes, I guess!

diet cokes? darn... i was going to use my herbal tea as my excuse... but i have a distinct feeling it's something more visual.

glad you caught it before anyone downloaded it. :)

i'm offline for the night after this, (it's 5.30pm here) but expect to be around tomorrow to do it all again.

sweetsubsarrah! i'll keep an eye out for your story :)

A pendejo, eh? That's spanish for something, ain't it? :)

Knowing MG, its either...

a) Something not nice in Spanish

OR

b) Something made up in convincing Pseudo-Spanish.

Or its Esperanto but I'm leaving that WELL alone

Knowing MG, it's always a safe bet to go with B.

But, knowing Spanish, I have to tell you that it's alternative A.

"Pendejo" means "coward" in Spanish.

Si. "Pendejo" doesn't really translate into English, but it isn't a compliment. It's usually a part of a string of expletives. Sorry, I just couldn't help it.
