Morris leaned against the wall of the college building smoking. He was a black man with a muscular body that looked Mille it had been carved from stone. The sleeveless hoodie he often wore showed off his huge muscles that made it look as if he could fit two fully grown men at the same time by their necks alone. He was not one to be messed with and the college campus knew it.
He took shit from nobody and did nothing for nobody he didn’t give a damn about. Like most people at this dumbass college. He was only going because his pops wanted him to. He made sure to keep his grades decent. He always ended up in the B-C range from help from a his cousin Tracey, She cared more about this college stuff than he did.
There were people who gave him a lot of shit for getting into trouble sometimes. Morris may not have cared much for this college but a lot of people who came here did and they didn’t want some “black punk” like him ruining its reputation. He didn’t know what they were on about. It was just a regular college, not one of those fucking elite ones.
Not like he gave a shit anyway. He always handled his business when he needed to. He wasn’t worried about what nobody was thinking. He did the shit he wanted and that’s his it was gonna stay. The grades were good, his pops was happy, that’s all he needed. He flipped the cigarette towards the nearby garbage can, not bothering to check if it made it.
