There is an obvious difference in media handling of shooters based on race, I don't think anyone can honestly deny that.
Not to hijack the thread, but:
I do find it curious, however, that the FedEx shooter, a white male, was not revealed to be so until over twelve hours passed, during which time the FBI was searching his house. Since then, details have been few and far between.
Other than the FBI had been called by the mother with concerns the son might 'suicide by cop', where the FBI confiscated a shotgun but left him alone and still, apparently, legally ok to buy the two rifles (months apart) used in the FedEx situation.
I haven't found much else, no comment on their political side, which is usually the top thing mentioned. I wonder what, if anything, we'll learn in the future?
