I don't even know what these "clowns" did to justify or decry. I asked what was the damage and got no answers so I'm assuming nothing is on fire and nobody die.Oh, so equivalent. When you come up with a group, post it.
Is your post supposed to justify the antics of these ass-clowns?
I look back at the history of Fredrick Douglas and his astounding rhetoric, and the actions of the likes of Booker T Washington and George Washington Carver, and the latter day rhetoric of Martin Luther King.
And I see the dream fading. The dream of a color blind society where every man rises or falls on the merits of his own efforts and decisions, into a society of "I'm a victim" - PAY ME! A society based on the notion of political extortion.
I just don't care anymore. I used to, greatly. But no more. I've watched the black community go from a community of "give me freedom" to a community of "gimmee" to a community of "gimmee more." Cultural degeneration, slavery never ended, only the 'master's' and the nature of the bondage have changed.
When the black community makes the effort to clean up it's own mess, when the black community takes responsibility for the mess they've created within, then, and only then, will I begin to care again.
Until then, I just don't care anymore.

It's nice for you to name drop like that but why are blacks supposed to follow those examples of ultimately questionable results anyway? Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure that what ultimately ended slavery was a war not rhetoric. MLK didn't exist in a vacuum and economic warfare is warfare too but that's another issue.
As for the Dream fading, the dream was a goal it wasn't something that we had in the 60's. It is something we are closer to today than ever before but we've still got miles and miles to go before that is remotely a fact.
As for clean up our own mess? Most of this is not our mess. There are parts that are ours no doubt but lets not pretend that this wasn't done to minorities in this country.
Oh and you used to care, not that I believe you but you clearly do care. You just want to make things worse because that's how you and yours roll.
