How about a medieval setting, but not these endless encounters starting from the beginning, and repeating one and the same...

If you are suggesting a new theme for mediaeval, then you will have to offer more detail than that.

how about a story from the servants point of view?

observing the lords and ladies at play.. as well as having their own fun

thats a good idea..

its a mix of upstairs and downstairs.. and of the powerful being brought low

and a lot of fun :)

I've seen this done in the Sci-fi literature have done this in various settings a number of times as well as the movie "Groundhog Day" and a couple of Sci-Fi films of no particular note.

Now, what's this story about? Do we have a few details like PLOT, STORY LINE, etc?

Thank you all, snooper, nechash, jenny_S, and lusti_Rusti;
If I have an idea with details, plot, story line...then maybe it's not clear yet...from the servans's point of view, yes that could be great..or how about from the point of someone, that is still innocent, vs someone that is not at all....not that this is the idea itself, of course..

if you want some ideas.. watch the film "A Lion in Winter"

it has a lot of complex interpersonal relationships.. most with strong sexual content

You could do that by having the innocent read the other's (explicit) diary, detailing the effect on the innocent, etc. It would make an even stronger contrast if the diary is mediaeval and the reader is 21st Century.

or, the mistress of the castle orders the servant, who is young and scared to please her, in order to revenge her unfaithful husband,..and the main hero, the young girl from the nearby monastery falls in love with that husband..but a woman can reveal her sensations better than a man, i believe

Upon re-reading this first message I wonder what Dante meant. :confused:

what I meant?:)..sometimes, some stories are repetitive, and they do not describe the inner emotions or rather - the development of the characters,..

Ah, okay. :)

I agree that more stories need the thoughts and feelings of its characters. :)
