Officials: Inmate Raped, Killed Officer

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- A correctional officer was murdered at Tomoka Correctional Institution in Daytona Beach. The murder happened at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The victim has been identified as 50 year old Donna Fitzgerald. The Port Orange woman had worked at the prison for thirteen years.

Enoch Hall, 29, has been identified as the suspect. State prison records show that Hall is already serving two life sentences for sexual battery with a weapon and kidnapping convictions from a 1993 case in the Panhandle.
