Black and white rings/stones

Hi,

I’m trying to find a story I read a few years ago. It was a multi chapter story.

It was something to do with a young man going to collapse and establishing a bit of a harem. It featured a secret society with black and white rings. White ring wearers would obey those wearing black rings etc.

Can anyone help?
