So which is it and how do you want to leave your mark or how do you want to be marked...

I love my marks, and poking at sore spots.

Makes me feel more connected to the man when he's not around. Like a reminder, something else I can physically feel.

And they fascinate me. Some of the things that I'm convinced will leave a bruise fade straight away, and other things cause me to bruise up big time, and surprisingly.

I prefer them in places I can see and touch.

My marks make me smile. And sometimes say "Ouch" long after they've been left. To me, they are reminders of so many things. The passion between us, the excitement if we've been apart for a while, the fact that they don't have to be hidden...although for some it is best that they are. I like the sight of them when I get out of the shower or when I'm dressing and undressing. I like to touch them and feel the residual tenderness. When we are apart, they serve as tangible reminders of what has passed and also what is to come.

I usually receive marks but sometimes I leave them, too. Always unintentionally but they do make me smile also. Mostly because of the smile on his face when he shows them to me. Well, except that once...and he admits that was his fault. He should've said "ouch" when I did it but we were both caught up in the moment. It's been a week and I think he's still paying for that one.

Currently I have crop marks up my ass that crisscross and look like a corset.

I have some cane marks on the front on my thighs so I can look at them whenever I like.

I also have some marks from a single tail whip, but I dont think those will last very long at all.

Oh and the remnants of some bite marks too left over from the other day.

I'm not a pain slut in that I dont actually enjoy the pain; it's more that I like taking the pain for my PYL. Its a very new experience to me and I have dicovered that I have a love of these type of markings.

I don't know what I am. I enjoy heavy sensations and pain, specially when I'm really ready for it and wanting it. I enjoy taking it for him, but that's not an active thought during the process when I'm just trying to remember how to breathe again. I love the rush of the moment afterwards, when pure relief flushes through the body. I love how it makes the rest of the world go away, it's just him and me.

And so yeah, I like my reminders of that feeling.
