I'm sure you've guessed by now I'm Brynne. I'm 47, divorced (2 years ago; all for the better) single mom of 18 year-old Timothy. The first year after the divorce was not easy. Timothy wasn't happy that we moved just before his senior year in high school and has been moody and bratty ever since. Part of his resentment seems toward me because of how I "reinvented" myself before moving to out new community in Simi Valley.
Simply put, I want the best in and for this new chapter of my life. The divorce settlement is very comfortable and I decided as part of my new start, I began taking Yoga and Pilates, eating healthy as well as having an eye lift, Botox treatments, and other augmentations that I won't bore you with at the risk of sounding any more conceited or "high maintenance" than I've found as one of the "images" or reputations that only recently have I begun to learn are being spoken about me behind my back, mostly by, not surprisingly, the other wives/mothers in the community. Especially the ones who's husbands tend to pay more attention to me than their wives at parties and community events.
It also recently came to my attention that the group of boys Timothy has been associating with - whom I instantly took a disliking to and forbid to have over the house - may have been encouraging my son in ways that went beyond what I suspected (Timothy now listens to hip-hop, uses its slang, and he's come home with alcohol on his breath and I'm certain on a few instances, an aroma of pot). I was aware the other boys - Robbie, Randy, Dennis, Josh, and Brody - the one they all look up to - see me as "Bitchy' Brynne, and I will admit within the last two weeks there have been instances where I was "bitchy" to them, which it seems somewhat embarrassed my son, but I told Timothy right in front of the boys that if he wasn't going to stand up for himself to those boys then I would.
So you can imagine my surprise when I overheard them in the den during a party at Joyce and Carlton's home - who are Brody's parents and Joyce so happens to be the wife who seems most jealous of me since my arrival to the community made her no longer the "prettiest" wife and she seems to have organized the other women in her favor - and my name was brought up along with the term "MILF." I heard all of the boys laugh when Brody said it... including Timothy.
So... I'll let you be the judge. I've shared a few recent photos of me from different occasions or events. I tried to find ones that show me not in something elegant and expensive (at least not all) but ones that hopefully will have whoever responds to this thread - either in a Message or in a chat room - will be able to let me know in which photos do they see - if at all - me as more "bitchy" and/or "high maintenance" or see the "pushy MILF" that seems to be a private joke the boys - and my son - are enjoying keeping from Timothy's "know it all" mom.
