Had an interesting conversation with an acquaintance of mine. She’s bi and she was talking about how she’s finally given up on dating straight men as she just can’t relate to them, so she’s only dating bi guys and gals from now on. Now I’m bi as well (before you ask: she lives on a different continent, seven year age gap and while we have similar hobbies, we have very different lifestyles. We just like talking to each other) and I can kind of relate. I do tend to get along best with other bi folk.

So I figured, what about some ideas regarding bi characters who get frustrated with the straights and even the gays and try to find partners with their same orientation?

Example: Woman has been dating a guy and things are going okay. He’s not great in bed but he’s okay. Then one night she finds out he’s cheating on her. She confronts him and he says it’s fine: she’s bi so she figured she had a woman on the side and she can join in with the two of them if she wants.

She dumps him, then sets up a new dating profile: bi women and men only. She starts chatting with one woman who is a bit older who admits she wound up divorcing her husband because of his casual biphobia. They start chatting and plan a meetup…and it’s her ex’s mom!

The title of this thread made me think it's about some kind of quid pro quo deal for best-in-slot items in an MMORPG.

Alas, that doesn't look to be it.

No I just thought it would be fun to have a story about a bi person finding another bi person.

For example:

Guy goes to a college mixer and he bounces off a few girls but he manages to click with a woman who said she just broke up with her girlfriend. She wasn’t looking for a hookup but as she goes off on her girlfriend, she decides, “fuck it. I’m gonna fuck this guy” and invites him back to her place.

She lets him know she’s a bit nervous as she’s never been with a guy, she’s only dated lesbians but he seems cool for a straight guy.

Guy then laughs: he had come after breaking up with his boyfriend and he was just thinking he never clicked with straight girls before she revealed she was bi. They have a few good laughs and then sink into each other for a night of wild passion.

How about two bi people (of any sexual combination) who agree that they will have sex exclusively with each other, except for the opposite sex. In other words, two bi women who live together but allow each other to occasionally have a cheap tawdry fling with a man. Or two bi guys, who allow each other to have casual sex with women. Or a bi woman and a bi man, each allowing the other to have same-sex flings.

I have no idea if any of these are realistic or not, not knowing any bi people in real life (as far as I know, of course). My best guess is that all couples are different.
