Hi...So after being in a large group thread I actually have grown to like it. Anyways this is about a war between Lycans [Werewolves] and Vampires. The key to this thread is to pick a side. The setting is in a desolate future that the humans of earth has brought it to. In order to survive they turned to the dark creatures that could live through this disaster. Humans chose to either become vampires or Werewolves. There are two ancient leaders The great mother Levera and the Bloodline Praedari. Sorry to say to you all, but I play both.

Praedari has built her massive army of vampires that grows every minute as they scout for humans to turn into ravenous new borns.

Levera has not relied on their breeding to build the army. So most have been created using her bite. Though there are lycans still being born. Levera has also turned to the Lupyn another race of werewolves different than there own. [Note: Like the vampires there are so many types of werewolves out there. So if it's a type of werewolve you found on google or something just specify what it's type. Most underworld werewolves are called Lycans]

Pick a side vampire or werewolve and bring hell to the war ahead. The age limit for vampires and werewolves is 8,000. Though if there are too many in the ancient category I will make the new applicants change their age. The number of abilities is limited to 4. Though vampiric strength, Lycan phasing etc. is not counted as an ability. Tips for cool abilities for vampires check with Anne Rice vampires and so on.

What about other types of Lycanthropes? I am thinking were-bear in particular at the moment.

Hmm...That's actually something I didn't quite think about. That actually sounds perfect. It'll help, buil up Levera's side a little more. Sure were-bears, were-cats etc are acceptable.

Though I'm not allowing a cross mix hybrid. Such as Vampires && Werewolves combined. Though I'll accept a certain type of vampire with another vampire. Or a werewolf and a werecat, etc. You get the point

Since it is in the future, could I be a genetically enhanced soldier who has sided with the Praedari Bloodline. He would be about to be turned.

That's. Though being genetically enhanced won't serve much when turning into a vampire. All new borns pretty much start out the same depending on who their sire is determines their strength and what abilities they start from. Now considering your character is a soldier he'll have knowledge of human combat, stratagies etc and will be a good in combat as a vampire.

So that's completely fine by me. Anyways if you do make the bio put a little section underneath age that says Sire. This is the person who is somewhat your mentor and you will be placed in their battalion or portion of the army. I'll let you know who your sire is so that you can fill that up, but I'll let you know after I read your bio

Bio:
Storm was born into a military family, and at the age of 7, chosen to partake in the second (and final) generation genetic enhancement program for the Army. He not only survived the treatment, but flourished. He was transfered to the Spec Ops at the age of 19, and served there with distinction till the collapse of the government, and rise of the vampires and lycans.

He and the platoon of enhanced soldiers under his command stayed out of the fighting while trying to evaluate the best course of action. Eventually, they clashed with a lycan platoon sized force that moved on the town that they where protecting. The disorganized lycan force was easily dispached with only 3 survivors, and 2 casualties for the soldiers. The lycan counter attack was much more organized and larger. They held out for nearly a week before a Praedari force attacked the lycans from behind. Only 11 of his 70 men survived, half of those where badly wounded. The Praedari commander was impressed by the prowess and tenacity of the human soldiers and made a bargain with Storm. In exchange for the loyalty of him and his men, the town would be under Praedari protection and would not be coerced to donate blood or become vampires.

It has been nearly two years since that day. Storm has come to believe that the lycans are the true threat to humanity, and become one of their staunchest opponents.

The older and more organized groups of vampires have no respect for new borns and humans. The only vampires that really accept you all until of course you've proven yourselves are Commander Xekvuska and his small battalion. You are sired by one of the younger vampires a Lieutenant for Xekvuska's battalion. The young vampire is about three hundred giving you quite the long list of memories of a vampire, though the blood is not old enough to give you any authority over the other Praedari. You're abilities are as follows normal vampire strength (not enough strength to take out Levera, Praedari or the lowest rank Xeksuva.), Heightened senses, night vision.

Your Special abilities: mind reading (though most vampires have devoloped a way to block their thoughts from this and most lycans are immune. Never block your thoughts from Praedari because she sees this as treason and puts anyone who fails to obey to death) and day walking. Which gives you the natural ability to withstand sunlight unlike most vampires who have to gain it with age or never gain it at all.

Note: Praedari only has a few vampires she actually likes. Most of them are around her age, but young near eight thousand years. She even plans on bringing in a Lycan from war capture to be her pet, but that was rumor. She was reviewing Xeksuva's battalion and remarked in venemous words that it was the most pathetic thing she had seen. Newborns and human whelps that thought through vampires would they become gods. They had just become unworthy dogs to her. Now most of the vampires seek her favor. They want to prove to her that they're worth it. It's up to you what you want to do with your character.

I was planning on having him turned after a few posts. First post he is offered turning, second he debates whether he wants to or not, third he accepts. But if you think having it already done would be better that's up to you.

For it to be accurate with Levera and Praedari's age...about 7361 would be the date.
