Although mice and wombats are both mammals, evolutionary they are eons apart.

Wombats are marsupials and they give live birth to embyonic offspring that must crawl to a pouch and hide for three months or so while nursing to maturity. They are domestically found in Australia but have migrated to zoos all around the world.

Mice althogh naked and blind feed upon mamaries placed outside with no pouch to hide in. The mature faster than wombats.

So it seems it is the placement of the mammary glands and the growth rate of the offspring that give the fundamental differences between marsupial and mouse. Geographical location is also a difference.

Uh Blarney?

It's considered good etiquette to reply to a thread on the thread itself.

I'm sure you think you're special and above such silly things as courtesy, but we would appreciate if you made the effort.

Coat hangers are made of carbon too

Chemistry lessons now

Cotton fibers and metal coat hangers are both made of carbon.

As for lit threads the research is still out...I do not apply to threads that do not make factual sense. Wombats and mice are evolutionary speaking worlds apart. I like Australian microbrews ..but Fosters is a sidney beer and tastes like budweiser....still they are worlds apart and the Fosters can is much bigger...just like a wombat in comparison to a mouse.
