Yes, the loud mouthed television pitchman who brought us such life changing products as OxiClean and OrangeGlo was found dead this morning at his Tampa, Fla. home.

I think it was my delivery, ala Marisa Tomei from My Cousin Vinny - "You know Billy Mays?" "Yeah." "Well, he's dead."

Article hints that could potentially have been the results of a rough landing on a flight yesterday. Apparently the plane blew out its wheels during the landing and, in an interview, he mentioned that he hit his head.

I'm an Infomercial fan. Though I almost never buy "as seen on tv" stuff, I enjoy watching the way they try to convince the viewer that what they're selling will change your life. I'm gonna miss hearing what new miracle item Billy might have tried to sell me. Seriously.

His name was not a household word such as Farrah or MJ, but he was probably seen on television more often and by more people than either of them. Maybe more than both of them combined.
