Given America's fascination with the fact that people are having sex without benefit of clergy, I suppose this was inevitable..

Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner introduced a bill aimed at making it harder (no pun intended) to get prescription drugs like Viagra. Psychological examinations, mandatory waiting periods, a mandatory conference with the doctor who would explain in great detail exactly what could go horribly horribly wrong...

And in Georgia and Missouri, female legislators have introduced bills to criminalize vasectomies, as vasectomies are a form of birth control.

It would seem that a growing number of women are getting fed up with the Republican party's newfound gynophobia.

the only thing that could go horribly wrong is an erection lasting more than 4 hours. i just don't see a down side.

When I was in the military, a guy in my unit developed priapism (aka "the eternal erection"). Kidding aside (we referred to him as "Prince Everhard of the Netherlands") his bladder got painfully distended. He'd have to go to the med clinic twice a day where they'd shove a straight catheter up his cock to drain his bladder.

There's no medication to treat this (or...there wasn't back then) and the only way to "cure" it is to surgically cut a couple of nerves....which would render him flaccid for the rest of his life. So they "treated" him by doing the bladder drainings, and hoped that time would cure all erections.

Never did find out what ultimately happened to the guy.

You are suppose to see a Doctor.

Personally, I'd like to see if I could wear a whore house out.

no need for a brothel

a gal like naughtycakes would wreck an erection i think. she reminds me of sex on heels.

Let's be clear, however--none of this is quite the equivalent of having an ultrasound shoved up your pussy, is it?

A quickie before picking up the kids at school might get problematic.

Very true...that's why I laughed last week at the efforts of a female legislator to mandate mandatory digital rectal exams as a condition for viagra prescriptions..

He had a hard life ahead of him.

I've never been compared to a whole brothel before, hahahaha, but I do have serious erection-wrecking skillz.

This was my fave part of the article, and that it got 19 votes out of 40.

What's up with Republicans kicking the doctor out of the doctor's office lately?

Obviously, women can't be trusted with their bodies. This dates back to Newt Gingrich in the early 1990s, who famously opined that women were wholly unsuitable for combat because of their propensity for "infections" about every 28 days or so.....

The enemy can follow trails of blood.

Does the link say who would pay for it?

It's tongue-in-cheek legislation dude. Republicans are running around trying to regulate women's reproductive health so she's introducing "let's see how you feel when the shoes is on the other foot" legislation.
