Good morning, brothers and sisters...

God dammit it's a cold morning. It's currently 34 degree here in Woodbury, CT. There is ice out on the bird bath. I am still keep'n the scooter ready to run for a warm week end but the odds are growing dimmer...

Yesterday it rained off and on all day long with wind gusts over 50 mph. I have some house chores to do today then maying dinner for my lady friend. Were going on the Lion's club haunted hayride this evening. It's a celebration. She recently received a job offer after being laid off from her last job. I've been in that situation and know how crazy that can make ya.

Talked with biner recently. Looks like she is going to be storing her iron horse for the winter. It has gotten really chilly up there in Canada.

For those of you that still can ride get out there. Think of us that can't right now.

....Good mornin' jaded, doc, dinny, and all the new folk...This thread has really taken off, seems like I don't have time to check in like I did, and I am gettin' farther behind in my readin' each time, lol, but sure am enjoyin' more people joinin' our lil' 'bikin' community'.
....Cool and foggy here in the western tip of va. this mornin', got a lil' ride planned, but will wait out the dampness.
....Heater is workin' just fine this mornin', but s'pposed to be cooler next week, so am guessin' will be buildin' a fire up tonite. Heater is good, but nothin' like a good fire.
....Hopin' to get outta here this weekend, the 28th, headin' south, and checkin' out the fall colors, startin' to turn perty good here, rite now.

Snake and Dr Feelgood - enjoy your riding this weekend ! I got stuck in CPR re-certification class all day, and missed out on the first sunny day we've had in a week ! I'm jealous !

Dinny and Jaded, we'll just have to try and amuse ourselves the best we can. That hayride sounds like a perfect way to spend a fall evening - cuddle up nice and snug and enjoy !

Good afternoon, everyone...

Last night was lots of fun... Haven't been on a haunted hayride in a long time. However wasn't anticipating a two and a half hour wait in the cold. The temperature dropped off rapidly and we found are selves standing outside with out hats or gloves. When getting home at 10 pm it was 39 degrees. With the rain on Friday night they canceled the event for the evening. Those planing to go on Friday switched to Saturday. They only had four tractors running so the process was tedious. Kudos go out the the people providing the scary entertainment. They did a excellent job... With the cold wind blowing right through us we decided to take a hot shower to get the chill out of are bodies late last night. Then we did cuddle up in my heated California water bed. It wasn't long before the both of us were out like a light. Tomorrow is the first day of her new job so she left just a little while ago. Had to get every thing laid out and ready for tomorrow.

I do hope everyone is enjoying the weekend so far. Well I have some flower pots that need the dead flowers removed and the hanging planter put away until next year. I have my herb garden harvested. Yes folks winter is making it decent on us...

...sorry to hear 'bout your tuff luck biner, but we all hafta keep up our certifications...but am hopin' ya have some nice ridin' days still to come...
...I have some perty nice ridin' days durin the entire winter months, and even like i tell 'em at work, when i ride in, and its in the teens, I turned the heat on...
...Sounds like ya had a nice evenin' jaded, we have done the hayride thing here, for several years now, its a honey-dew job for me, but I always enjoy it, none the less.....
...I got in another nice ride this mornin'...kinda cloudy, but yet beautiful, with the sun shinin' thru, and on the colorful mountains...I wouldn't say its at our peak, but beautiful none the less...
...I know all to well 'bout those water beds jaded, have had a full wave, for 'bout as long as i can remember, guess ya already know, sleepin' is the 2nd best thing they are fit for...
...Heres hopin' everyone has a great Sunday, and an even better week...I hope to be checkin' in more often, but "my" youngen is keepin' me perty busy...

What another weekend. WOW Beautiful riding day yesterday and although today started out looking yucky with clouds and 40% chance of rain we dodged that bullet and the sun popped out. Took advantage of it and gave my baby a bath and a Sunday shine and in a bit will take her out for a ride.

One weekend soon before it gets too cold I need to head to Skyline Drive here in Virginia.

SNOW ! Dammit, it snowed here today !
When I went into the gym, everything was fine. Little wet and chilly, but nothing to get concerned about. When I came out an hour or so later, I was hit in the face with very cold, very white precipitation!
No accumulation on the ground, but no good can come of this.
Moral of the story - the gym is bad ????

I spend the beautiful sunny day inside doing my course like a good girl, and look what happens.

You know, the first time I went to AZ was during the last week of October. The desert in the fall is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been. Sunset, stars, and hot cocoa. Heavenly.

On the actual Coast, or what's left of it.

When you were in MS, I was in Arizona Attending Southern now, so shuffling between the Hattiesburg campus and the Gulf Coast one.

I lived in MS 92-99. Yeah it is a mess isn't it. I worked for Domino's Pizza's world's largest franchisee headquartered in Gulfport. I imagine he got hit HARD as many of his stores were coastal and New Orleans stores. Furthest he went north was Jackson.

It turned off very cold this evening. Colder ride home than to work this morning. BRRRRRRR

Well, are Giants handed the Tuna his ass last night. The Cowboys staged a small come back in the fourth quarter but the Giants are a fourth quarter team and came right back. I'll be doing the happy dance at work today...

Giants kicked their butt and handed it to them. Only reason it was even close was that stupid call on 3rd and short. Jeez. Until that blown call by who knows who the crowd was booing more than cheering. LOL. I must admit when they were talking about going for the record and all of that before the game I though Oh No........ Then Eli and crew marched it right down their throats. Then the soon thereafter got the awesome punt then the safety. Wooo Hooo.

Stayed up late, watchin' that game last nite, ya think maybe to-owens was counting his money when he missed that fourth and one pass, rite in his hands...lol...Was cold here this mornin' ridin' in, but rode none the less, I have never put mine up for the winter...Still hopin to get in a nice long weeknd, even if i hafta head south..

It's gonna be a chilly day here in Woodbury, CT. Possibilities of snow flurries off the great lakes. I am going to get my bike ready for winter storage this weekend... I'm not one for riding in blizzards.

Snake I am hoping that the Giants do good this year. Would love to see Tiki go out a super bowl winner. He has given to the team for many a year. They have the talent. They need to stay healthy.

No Putt...I'm just going to stay home and write today.

That storm from Salt Lake City moved in here last night and dumped four inches of snow, so there will be no riding today, though the weekend looks better with temps back up in the sixties.

I got a request last night from my local public access TV station to host a show. I was floored, I've done radio for years but TV...well I ain't your usual fashion plate...this should be really interesting. Giving me a place to wear all my Harley shirts I collected riding cross country.

Ride 'em if you can, then safely.

It was a cold bluster day here in Connecticut. Didn't do much today was in the mood to kick back and get some reading in. A little me time... Just relaxed with a pot of Dunkin Donuts. Back is a little sore from moving a meat display at were I work which was still a little tender from the accident a couple of weeks earlier...

Hey, Dinny saw on the news that Colorado received a foot and a half of snow today. Guess you lucked out with four inches in your area. As far as the offer on you local PBS TV station I say go for it. I want to say I have a buddy with a talk show on TV...

...Started out dreary/rainy here this mornin', so i took the truck in, then the day warmed, and got nice, figures, huh ...Did go out for a short ride this afternoon, after I checked the cows, and a few odd jobs...Rain is s'pposed to move in tonite, but at least it has warmed up...Congrats on the job offer dinny, hope its what ya want, and works out for ya....Just damn gald that tomorrows Friday, finally...Hope everyone has a great Friday, and weekend...
