Biker's Run..........................

it's just about nice here. about time arizona cool off. gonna be some good riding weather

Good morning, everyone... :)

It's a beautiful but foggy fall morning here in Connecticut... :) The back is still a little tender but I have no choice but to head in to work. I do hope everyone had a great week end.... ;)

How about them Giants... :D Not used to seeing them with a win after coming off a buy week. Interesting story on the Mannings, DrFeelgood. I would have loved to see Elli kick Peyton's ass when they played.

Well gang I have to get ready for work. Have a great Monday. The lucky ones have Columbus day off... ;) Catcha all later.

Considering Peyton has some years on Eli it is no wonder he out performs him a bit. He is still young in the NFL. Really he is still young period. Still has his baby face...LOL Eli has steadily moved up in his overall rating. Think of him in 4 years.

what a great long weekend !

Hi All !

Happy Columbus Day to you in the US ! (I think that's it - yes, no ?) It's the Thanksgiving weekend for those of us up here in The Great White North, and it's been a great one. Beautiful sunshine and 20 degrees !
I spent 6 hours on the bike yesterday - went up through the Mt Tremblant area of Quebec with some friends. The leaves are turning brilliant yellow, red and orange, and the twisty, turn-y roads in the mountains made the ride so much fun.
Today I'm paying for it with a slightly sore tuckus, but I couldn't resist getting up and taking an early morning spin through Gatineau Parc while it was still quiet and I had the whole world to myself, it seemed. The place will be packed by now with tourists and people who seem to think that driving in their SUVs through a park makes them true outdoorsmen.
The roads are are a little slippery with frost that early in the day, but the hour or so was well spent before going to the gym, getting the Turkey prepared, etc.

I hope you all have had a great weekend...next week I have a course on how to "winterize" my bike...is it really that time already ?

What a wonderful day it was here. Too bad I was stuck in the office. However, took the loooong way home for a bit of a ride. My left blinker button went out on me yesterday and with the crazies around here I need it so did not want to chance it too much so came on home.

Howdy all, '00 Harley Dyna Wide Glide gets me around when it's nice. Road trip this weekend from Dallas to San Antonio will be the longest ride I've been on in a while besides my daily commute. My roommate just purchased an anniversary Harley 883 Sportster and takes her MSF lessons in two weeks so I'll have a spare backseat to find a new BOB. Be well, all.

Hey all.
A Triumph Speedmaster is my baby. I can ride her rain or shine, cold or hot, clean or dirty.

Good evening, Biner, Snake1500, DrFeelgood, Ender3, and DomRick... :)

Good did it ever turn out to be a beautiful day here in the little New England town of Woodbury, Connecticut... :) We hit 81 degrees today. Of course it always hits a nice warm temperature when I have to work. My back let me know that I made the wrong decision too...:( I am addressing my good friends here leaning back against a heating pad. Unfortunately I don't have a choice in the matter. The fella on vacation isn't returning until Oct. 18th. So I have to cover.

Well Dr. I hear ya on Peyton versing Elli. But seeing him of national T.V. he has a tendency to come off as a bit of a pompous ass. I still would have liked to see little brother slap him around a little bit. He needs to brought down a peg or two... ;) Yeah, ya most definitely want to look into that left signal light. It may be something simple as a bulb. I'm pretty lucky in my little town there aren't enough people to make travel nutso. But if you head into the big cities they are crazy.

Well, Grandpa Snake I bet you were busy installing that gas heater today. Us Grandpa's can't have the grand kids cold. I do hope grand daughter and daughter are both holding up well. That daughter is out of the woods.

Biner you are one hundred percent correct today was Columbus Day here state side. It kind of ticks me off that the calenders around here no long give the Canadian holidays. I would have enjoyed sent you a Egreeting or Ecard for card for the holiday. So please allow me to wish you a sincere but late Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. It brings loved one close. Time to enjoy good friends. Oh, did I also mention I am a incredible cook... I am very envious of all the riding your getting in. With scrapping and repainting the house and work most of my ridding this year has just been local. We have another week or two before hitting a peak foliage season and I will get out at least once. I do air caution about frost mornings. Some times the roads seem fine but you can hit one cold spot and things can get squirrelly. As for the sore butt, if the pain persists remember I get to kiss the ouch and make it feel better. Not DrFeelgood.

Ender3 and DomRick welcome to Biker's run. You both in some beautiful area in the country. DomRick My very beautiful married daughter lives just north of Dallas. Her and hubby bought a house there some three months ago. Happy to have you aboard. Have fun and enjoy your stay.

Good Morning from a Spaz up in New England... yup another Masshole. I ride a Harley Softail Standard. If it isn't pouring I am on it. Just found this thread and I like it. Ride safe everyone.

Spaz

Glad I found this thread...

My '06 Royal Star Venture's in the shop for it's 4K service...that's an oil change to you hard tail types...but the damn Yamaha dealer's had it for five days trying to figure our why it's leaking oil from the bottom of the cylinders like a Harley. I wanted to have my ride back before the weather changed in the Rockies...which happened Sunday. So I guess its thermal underwear and electric socks till Daytona.

Yeah weather was GREAT here for about 5 days now clouding up. Watch knockin on the Harleys now....LOL

Cannot wait for Daytona. Maybe a biker littogether is in order!

Good evening, everyone... :)

It was a damp raw day here in the little town of Woodbury, CT...:(

I spent the day outside scrapping the outside of the house. Have it all completed with the exception of one small section. About another 4 hours worth of work. Then I can prime and paint the first couple of descent days we get. I'll need about 2 good days for painting. The rest of the house is finished. This has been a bad year for me. When it's been nice and I should be out for a nice long ride on the Gold Wing I'm on a ladder painting the house...:( Shit I didn't even get much fish'n in this year. But next year I won't have the house painting to contend with. It should free up some me time.

I want to welcome two new members to are biker family Supahspaz and Dinny. I hope you guys have fun and enjoy yourselves. When you're here your always among good friends. As a olé biker I have meet many scooter tramps in my life and they have all been good people... :D

Well Doc in the past on other threads I have always had BBQ's at my place in the warmer weather. I will continue to do this on Biker's run... :D I have meet some great friends from Lit in real life... :D I realize that we are coming to the end of are riding season and are little thread is growing nicely. To make one point clear. Yes, I started this thread but it belongs to all of us. It will take all of us to turn this thread into a legends. I started the spring thread on the playground and it recently hit the 1300 page mark. We can make this thread bigger. Perhaps some day my good friend we will have a Biker's run Lit together somewhere in the middle of the United States and we will invite America to attend. Shit dude who many burgers and dogs do ya think I'll need.... ;)

Well for now it "Rider's up and ride safe... :) "

Good morning, everyone.... :)

Hopping on quick to wish everyone a super great day. Keep smiling the week end is in sight... :D

You guys must have kicked some of that cooler weather down here. BRRRR went from 80 to 55 in 2 hours time no joking. WOW. 20 mph sustained winds and I would say about 30-40 mph gusts. Fun on a bike but brrrrrrrr almost had to stop and throw on the jacket.

By the way Jaded keep meaning to ask from your signtature you are a troop supporter. Ever think of the Patriot Guard. What a great thing that is.

Hey, Buddy... :)

Wasn't sure if you knew what I was talking about when I was telling ya about fall weather so I sent ya a little Arctic air... ;) The weather channels are stating that here in Connecticut we have a good chance of a below freeze morning on Sunday...:( We're supposed to go into the 30's tonight!

I am hoping for a few Indian summer days yet this year. You don't happen to have a personal in do ya... ;)

Yeah not quite that nipply yet here but on its way. Saw the clouds rolling in from the north at high rate of speed and figured you guys sent it on down cause we was enjoying the BEAUTIFUL weather. According to the weather channel we will be back with some sunny weather tommorrow but 10-15 degrees cooler. Getting time to dust off the old leather jacket.

Yeah bro think about the Patriot Guard. One of the most rewarding experiences I have ever done. I am a currently serving reserve/guard vet (14 years now almost) and although have not had the honor of a call up I can tell you next to serving in country I really feel a sense of honor doing the PGR thing. Our work is really appreciated too let me tell you.

Well Jaded there is more motorcycle traffic up here in the boony's in the Summer then I have seen in Southern NY in the Summer.

There is also far less nutty drivers on 4 wheels on the State Highways around Plattsburg.

Littogether sounds like a good reason for a run

Hey Feelgood that's a damn fine idea...what would it take to get Literotica pins for our vests, too??? Daytona, Sturgis, Laconia, shit man, whereever let's do it!

Lit pins....hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Good morning, everyone... :)

Sweet Jesus did it ever get cold here quick...:( We went from the mid 60's yesterday to 32 degrees here this morning. The sun is coming up and should warm it up a little.

Actually Doc. I have had both the Patriot Guard and Rolling Thunder in the back of my mind. Of course it would be only one or the other. I just started riding again this year after raising to fantastic kids. The ex wasn't into raising kids so I did it... :D Her loose! I did it right and both kids are doing very well. Hav'n been a soldier I feel committed to give something back to the soldiers. No matter who you are or what you are it is a silent brotherhood and sisterhood we will share all are lives... ;) It really has absolutely nothing to do with the government! It's all about the true Americans the American people!

I have been having Lit togethers for the last four years. Must have had 15 to 20 of them. Seeing I a excellent cook I have been doing it in forms of cook outs. Christ I have meet lots of truly great friends doing these BBQ's. I am planning on doing it with this thread next summer. The BBQ's are away of getting people together in a open relaxed atmosphere. I live in Connecticut and had people from Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhonde Island, and Pennsylvania attend. They are always lots of fun. There is no reason why each and everyone of you can't do the same. You can use are little thread to announce your get together. Remember this is your thread also... :D

Now as far as a Literotica lapel pin goes. I know of a gal that makes jewelry. I suppose I could approach her and see if she would be interested in doing something like that. Of course it would have to be approved by Literotica. There would be lots of legality to it. Something like "Literotica, freedom of speech" could work. The pin would have to be appealing to all Literotican's... :D Someone would have to do a little research to see how many people would be interested in such a product.

Hey, Shagly. Welcome to Biker's run. You will see more motorcycles up in your area. People buy bikes to escape the city and suburbs. It is very relaxing to get up on your bike and go for a ride in the country. Especially if you purchase a touring bike. Many of the new touring bikes are made for long rides. With the price of gas last year many people went to motorcycles as a way to escape for that traditional week end ride. Most bikes get 40 to 50 mpg. Some of us look at are bikes as iron horses. The freedom to feel the sun and wind in your face... :D

OK, gang. I have to get my butt in gear and get the day started. I have been in the mood for stuffed peppers all week long and need to do some grocery shopping. They will taste real good on the chilly week end. Catcha ya all later... ;)

Lit pins

Let me know the quote you get on those pins, Jade. That's something you can wear proudly that MOST one percenters can't get...cause they can't write. Wasn't able to go on the Rolling Thunder trip myself this year...I'm a 100 percent disabled vet and health wouldn't let me make that run...damn, missed Sturgis, too, was going to do that run with a couple of VN vet buddies of mine...we were all bummed about that...Sounds like a lot of you folks are mostly in the wind back east...hey lots of good riding left on the downhill side of this continent, if you know which Interstate to take out of Boulder, CO. Ride safe, y'all.
