Biker's Run..........................

Good evening, everyone... :)

Monday is behind us and it's the march to are next weekend... :) I just called my buddy. He supplies great cuts of meat to the local restaurants. I can out of bacon and need another 5 lb block over sliced American cheese. He get me fantastic cuts of meat at incredible prices. I also ordered my turkey for Thanksgiving from him. Gonna invite my lady friend over for Thanksgiving. Her kids are down south and she can't be with them. I ordered a 20 lb bird. That way if people drop by there is plenty of food. No one has very pushed away from my table still hungry... ;)

Hey, Ricket welcome to Biker's run. Have fun and enjoy yourself. Here your always among friends. When your here your with family. I see my good friend Doc has said hello. There are some really great people here.

Hey Doc! You made mention that you were requested by PGR to have a 3' x 5' flag mounted on your bike. Question were did you find a mounting kit for such a bid flag? I currently run a 6" x 9" flag on my luggage rack. I am gathering that is un acceptable?

Hey Snake how ya coming along with the gas heater...?

Weather in the Rockies

Well, it's Tuesday in the AM, forecast for Boulder, CO is for rain turning to snow later today, looks like no putt. So I guess I park the ride and take the Jeep to the VA this afternoon...rather be on open roads with a sunny blue sky, guys.

Thanks my friend. Figured out the progression to do it right. First need to pick up a trailer hitch. Then I found another company that make the parade flag holder adopter. Both components look rugged are heavy duty chrome. Now just need to make it all come together... :D

Good morning, Dinny... :)

There that dam "snow" word... That stuff can really put a dampener on a lot of things. About the only good think this year is that I work less than a 1/4 mile from were I work. No long drive in a snow storm to work... ;)

Of course you been scares your a Grandpa doing Grandpa things... ;) That my friend is a high priority in this family and should be in everyones family!

Prior to taking early retirement I worked as a commercial truck parts salesman. I had the State of Connecticut account and many of the towns here in Connecticut. I know the drill in getting everything on line during this time of the year. A lot of time there was that call in the middle of the night and I would have to go in and look up a part been pull that part so someone could come down and get it....

Well buddy have yourself a great day ridden to work. I don't trust bring my bike to work. I've watched as two people backing up would run into one another. There is always accidents in that parking lot. I usually walk to work. Exercise is good for ya... ;)

Good morning, one and all.... :)

Well it's my day off today so it's raining... I can't believe how much it has rained here in Connecticut this year. I am actually going to have to cut the lawn again this week. With the cold weather I figured I was done for the season.

My very beautiful lady friend helped me decorate the house last weekend for Halloween. We need to go candy shop'n this weekend for the little cherbs... :)

There is a haunted hayride here in town the next two Fridays and Saturdays here in town sponsored by the Lions club. I think we are going to go Saturday night. But I think I am going to spoil her a little before going by making us a nice marinated New York Strip Steak dinner. Slow cooked out on the Webber charcoal grille. I just like spoiling her... :D

But today it's gonna be house cleaning and getting the laundry done. That was the weekend is free.

Well I am gonna run. Catcha ya all later... :D

Checkin' in from the Rockies

Man, it's a gorgeous day here...'bout 30 degrees and the road's are dry...at least in front of my place...guess it ain't so hot headin' into Denver...got the second appointment at the VA today, so cage bound anyhow. It's going to be a good one.

My old lady used to do the same thing for the kids at Halloween...decoratin' everything...then the place where she works started addin' more hours to her job...shit man, she's 57 and says the way things are going she don't know how she'll make it to retirement. So we've cut way back on our participating in joyous community shit like holidays.

Ride safe, where you can.

Hey, Ricket... :)

It was pretty warm here today but it kept raining off and on until late this afternoon.

Unless we get some really nice warm weekends I don't think I am going to finish painting my place before winter setting in. I have only a small section left to scrape. I think it will be painting time in the spring...

A daughter here. WOW. Small world.

Revolution?

Ain't that a freakin' Harley engine? Had a great day here, but cold. Trip to Denver wasn't bad in the PM. Temps coming up into the mid-50s tommorrow may go for a short putt mid-day if I can get my Dodge Van in the shop in time. Hope you all had a great one.

...G-mornin' everyone...TGIF...Been a long week here in the western tip of the ol' dominion, and a couple days of the messy stuff, makes it seem even longer.
...Not lookin' real good for the weekend, but guess its that time of the year...hope everyone has a god Friday, and a better weekend even....

...Ride safe...but ride...

Weather Channel says here will be a beautiful weekend. 80% chance of rain for the commute to work but clearing by noon and 62 and clear for the weekend. Long range looks like a rainy Halloween weekend but for this weekend things are looking up.

Good morning, Snake and Doc... :)

I think the chances of rain here is pretty good to as I stare out of the rain drop window...:( But then it's my day off so what else should I expect! Well it will be a good day to house clean and do some laundry....

Want to wish one and all a super great Friday and a fantastic week end. Been in touch with Biner and she's a live and well... :D

"Rider's up and ride safe... :) "

Looks like putt today..

This may be the last day for a couple of weeks, too. Weather Channel says it's going rain/snow tomorrow and the first couple of days next week. Ugh! Hell if this was Montana...I'd already have the bike up on blocks and the D-con set for the mice. Got my PGR patches and pins yesterday. Thanks Doc for turning me on to these folks, though there doesn't seem to me much action in CO for this organization, a lot of the first troops lost were from Ft Carson in Colorado Springs. A lot of fine folks been lost already. Ride safe.

Yeah, Baby

It was fabulous here in the Rockies...at least on the front range today. Temps in the high 50's a little windy...perfect putting weather and I did, too. Hope you all had a good one, too.
