So, he's been in Chicago for a couple of weeks now, and I found out his big plan is to join a blues band and play (as his job)
This is an Aussie who has been learning to play a harmonica for maybe 2 yrs max and who walks around saying words like 'homeboy' and 'bro' and 'homey' in his vocabulary, and who thinks himself a Rude Boy (Brits will understand the reference!)
I will admit to having a laughing fit when I found this out yesterday!

Interestingly, he has been contacting the kids a LOT more since he moved over there than he ever did when he was living 60km away here.

I find the best way to deal with a sick kid is to wish the worst for their father and laugh at their dreams.
