Big City Bound (now closed)

On a dirty bench on the side of the road, sits a nervous girl. She grips her bus ticket in one hand, and picks at the dirt beneath her nails with the other. The wind is cold for the end of August, and the sun is beginning to dip below the horizon. She sighs heavily and looks down the road, hoping to see the dark form of the bus approaching. Nothing yet.

A week ago, she never would have guessed she'd be here. Alone at the edge of town, waiting for a bus to take her into the city. She furrowed her brow and made a silent declaration. "I'll never come back here. Never." After several days of a continued arguement with her parents, who were determined to send her to a convent, she had left. Fleeing to the city, not caring about the details, just wanting out.

Hearing the distant roar of an engine, she looks up again to see the bus slowing down as it approaches the stop. Clutching a backpack, she stands and waits for the bus to halt....

After a HUGE hiatus, I'm back from hell and ready to RP again. I hope I'm not too rusty! Hi to the familiar faces and the new ones!

This story is VERY open to suggestion. I'd like to enlist one person to participate in this private RP, and am anxious to see what direction this story will take when fleshed out. I tend to like the Dom/sub or slave stories, BDSM (light-medium) and can see this young girl easily snatched up in the city. Again, suggestions are welcome! Please get back to me with any interest!

Glad to be coming out of retirement! :D

He looked at the diner, it was his favorite place to eat, cheap food, that tasted good, and it was close to work. He wouldn't get to it until about the time the bus got in across the street, at about 7 the next morning, just in time to be against the early breakfast rush.

He was a manager at the nearby big box store, he hated it since he got stuck with the 7 pm till 7 am shift, and it was so boring. It did have one perk however, he usually met alot of new people for the town when they got off the bus, and he managed to get alot of business for the store because of it.

She woke to the sounds of the bus engine as the driver changed gears to slow to a stop inside the terminal. She was surprised she had slept so easily with the pounding thoughts that ran through her head. She stood and grabbed her back and stepped from the bus, stretching her arms and legs. She frowned at her shoulder and rubbed it carefully. Must have been sleeping funny.

The sun was coming back up, glinting brightly in the sliver of sky visible through the tall buildings. She checked her watch. 6:50 am. She yawned and looked around. A diner sat across the street, and the smell of breakfast willed her to cross and enter.

Choosing a quiet table with the sun at her back, she picked up a menu and flipped through its laminated pages.

"What can I get for you, honey?"

She looked up to see a waitress with a notepad hovering above her.

"A glass of orange juice, please." she replied timidly, "and just some brown toast with jam."

The waitress jotted down her order before smiling and walking away.

He walked across the street to the diner, the day time manager showed up early so he could leave early. The bus was just pulling out from dropping off people when he entered the diner. Their was only one seat left in the place, next to a new girl, must be off the bus he thought. He sat down and ordered his usual, Coffee, and 2 fried eggs, and bacon with buttered toast. He opened the paper to read the headlines, grabbing at the empty napkin holder. He turned to the lady beside him. "Miss, can you hand me a couple napkins please." He said

She frowned to herself when he sat beside her. She had wanted to be alone with her thoughts. She needed to figure out her next move.

She smiled as warm as she could as she passed him the requested napkins and thanked the waitress as she set her breakfast down.

She took small bites of the toast, mindful that she needed to make it last. She had left home with only $200 and still needed to find somewhere to spend nights until she could find a job. With one slice finished, she used a napkin to wrap the second before placing it in her backpack and turning to the glass of juice.

He shook his head reading the first story on the business section. "These stupid unemployment numbers, keeping going up, I can't blooming find a person to fill a position I have open, these numbers keep going up because people are too choosy about where they work." He shook his head again and turned to the girl next to him. "Sorry I was so loud, stories like that piss me off though."

Her ears perked up when she heard his words. Turning her head she peered at the paper he was reading.

"Unemployment? Is it hard to find work in the city?"

Eyes wide, she hoped he would laugh off her question as ridiculous. She had hoped it would be easy to find a job in the city. She crossed her toes in her shoes that she had heard him incorrectly.

"I...I was going to look for a job today. Is there no where to work? Did you say you needed employees?"

He looked her over. "It's not hard to find a job in the city, if you are willing to work at times other then 9-5." He said looking at her. "I am looking for employees though for the 7pm-7am shift where I work though, the pay is alright, and the work isn't that bad." He looked at her, thinking she would do nicely. "Stop by 2254 Finch at 7 tonight if you want the job. Subject to passing a physical of course"

She eyed him carefully as he spoke. What kind of a person would up and offer her a job interview out of the blue? A desperate one, she supposed, shrugged her shoulders and finished her juice.

"What kind of job exactly are you hiring for? And where is Finch? I just got here from Kranbrooke and don't really know my way around."

She again peered at the newspaper clutched in his hands.

"Do you think I could take a look at the paper when you're through with it?" She was thinking about where she could find a place to spend a night or two, until she found something more permanent.

"Ahh, I'm the night shift manager at the big box store, I need just about everything, cashiers or floor people. To get to the store, turn right when you leave the diner, and then head one block up, and two blocks to the left. You should find it easy enough." He handed her the newspaper, after he finished his breakfast. "Remember tonight at 7, need to pass the company physical first though." He said as he got up to leave

She thanked the man as he stood to leave, attempting a sincere smile. Once he was gone, she turned her attention to the newspaper in front of her.

'Now,' she thought, 'time to see what I can find for some sort of temporary housing arrangement.' Scanning the paper's classified section, she didn't find much. One or two ads looking for roommates, but rent was much more than she could afford. Frustrated, she left some money on the table for her breakfast, picked up her backpack, and left the diner.

Wandering around the streets of the city was not what she had envisioned herself doing. Checking the street signs, she walked her way towards the man's store, just to see if she would be able to find it. She smiled to herself when it came into view and paused outside to peer in. Maybe it wouldn't be as glamorous a job as she would have hoped for, but it would pay for a place to stay and food to eat. She resolved not to miss her appointment here later, and continued on.

A park with a good book is a pleasant way to spend a day, and so the hours very soon began to blur together. Soon it was 6:30 and brushing a strand of auburn hair from her face, she packs the book back into her bag and makes the walk back to the store for her little meeting. Pushing open the door, she scans the place for the familiar face.

He smiled as he saw her enter. "Evening miss. If you would follow me into the back office, we can get your interview, and physical out of the way, and we can see about you starting tonight if I hire you." He said looking at her, he knew she would be perfect, perfect to be his little sex slave, new in town, looking for a job, and a place to stay. He could fix all that for her, very easily.

She nodded at the man and followed him as he made his way towards a small office in the back of the building.

"Uh... I'm sorry, I don't have a resume with me. I haven't had a chance to get one made up yet."

He opened the door to his office and motioned for her to sit down on the couch. "Thats alright, you won't need to give me a resume for this job. But please get comfortable, and tell me your name please." He sat as he sat in his chair.

She sat down on the couch as he waved her towards it and clutched her backpack in her hands.

"It's Samantha. Call me Sam tho."

"Evening Sam." He said as he locked the door. "I perfer not to be interrupted during my interviews." He said looking at her. "The name is Rick." He said looking at her, handing her a sheet of paper for her to look at. "Those are all the jobs I have a position open in, which one would you most like to have, and I'll see if you fit the qualifications."

Sam scanned the sheet not seeing anything that particularly piqued her interest.

"These all look fine. I'll do anything, I really need a job." She looked up expectantly at Rick and handed the paper back to him. "Where do you need me the most?"

"I could use someone that wouldn't mind working the floor, helping customers and the like." He said smiling at her, as he handed her another piece of paper, the contract. "This is your normal employer-employee contract, with one additional clause. I can fire you at anytime if you don't fulfill any of my desires, with at max one week notice." He said looking at her.

Sam scrunched her nose up as she looks over the contract.

"I'm not sure I understand what you mean. If I don't do what you tell me to do you'll fire me? Isn't that pretty standard?" Flicking some hair over her shoulder she looks up quizzically at Rick.

He nodded. "I guess, Sam, just most jobs don't start you off at 12 dollars an hour, with a raise to 15 an hour after 2 months, and 20 if you are here a year." He smiled at her. "Now if you sign the contract, then we can move on to the physical."

She shrugged her shoulders before picking up a pen and signing the contract.

"Sounds like a good deal to me!" She smiled and handed it back to him

"What exactly do I need to do for the physical? I've never had a job that required one."

"Alright, you can change into a gown behind the curtain, or if you feel comfortable, just strip down your bra and panties. I just need to make sure that your healthy and fit, I don't want to hire someone that might leave due to injuries in about a week." He said looking at her.

Sam wrinkled her brow and stood up, grabbing a small blue gown from the table beside her. Hoisting her backpack she slipped behind the curtain and placed it on a stool. Quickly removing her sweater and tank top, she resolved to keep her bra and underwear on. She slipped off her jeans and tied the gown at her neckline and around her waist before pulling the curtain open and resuming her seat on the couch.

He looked at her. "Alright the basic question, any allegeries, past injuries or diesaes I need to know about." He said looking at her, wondering whats shes going to look like when shes naked, and bent over the table in a few minutes.

She clasped her hands in her lap and shook her head.

"No, I don't think I'm allergic to anything, I've never broken a bone, I had Asthma when I was younger but I haven't had issues with it in years. I don't even take medicine for it anymore."
