big brother UK

This years line up doesn't impress me much. And what, exactly, is the point of having a person with Tourette's inside the house?

Seems like appealing to the lowest common denominator to me

Interesting the first year, when it was genuinely watching people interact. It was like sitting in on a pub conversation and I was quite entertained by being a fly-on-the-wall in these people's lives. It was genuine.

From the second season onwards, however, everyone in the house went in there with the intent of being famous. They started acting. No interest whatsoever.

This latest series only deserves my attention for as long as it takes to deliver a well deserved quote: "Bored now."

PS. What's with the txtspk?

I agree. Nasty Nick made me laugh

Most of the other series haven't been very entertaining. The one with Jade Goody made me question the state of the nation's sanity.....

I read about the idea, watched about a quarter of an hour of one episode and decided that BB wasn't of any interest to me.

I did watch some the excerpts with George Galloway and Rula Lenska. I have appreciated Rula's performances as an actor for years. I think her acting in BB was passable, and certainly better than George's.

I won't watch this season. I'd rather read a book.

George Galloway is an arsehole, watching him squirm in BB made me laugh
