A much better idea is to own up to your own responsibilities and not saddle anyone else with your bad spending habits.

I came from a very poor family, I payed my own way and I expect everyone else to do the same.

I've kept my payments at zero for 30 some years now. Once a year I tell them I'm not working and can't pay and then defer me to the next year. I figure sooner or later some administration will eventually clear everyones debt.
