The President wasn't "telling everyone" about "Hydroxyzine." He took and told people about Hydroxychloroquine. Which is a well known drug effective against some strains of the virus in some people and many other ailments including Malaria.

While admittedly not as big as the former guy's torchlight meetings and gatherings of the faithful, presidential press conferences would, in my humble opinion, fall under the umbrella of "big crowds". Not "stupid" at all, he's erring on the side of caution.

While the number of children hospitalised with Covid is low worldwide, and deaths are extremely rare, they do happen. It is NOT true that children are immune. A child with a compromised health system can be very vulnerable.

I don't know, most estimates would be made in the context of the space in which an event is held, right? For instance, two people would be a crowd in a "Polyjohn," but ten thousand people in a football stadium built for 100,000 wouldn't be considered to be "packed." Pelosi is going to only allow 100 people attend Biden's speech in a room designed to easily hold 1000, a place where everyone is vaccinated. Would that be a crowd, I doubt it. In fact I'd be surprised if Pelosi will allow the cameras to scan the relatively empty chamber as the speech progresses. Americans have never seen anything like this in before. It's totally uncalled for in my opinion.
