I am curious what people like or dislike about the changes Biden and his admin have initiated since he took over the presidency

It would be really great if people were able to comment basic likes / dislikes without mentioning Trump/ Republicans / conservative / etc

I dislike the rise in the price of gas
I dislike the gender policies allowing men to play sports with women
I dislike the weakness we are portraying to the rest of the world ( Biden and Putin's exchange is embarrassing as well as Chinas blatant statements about America's weakness - surely no one can argue - they have no respect for Biden?

Biden - Likes and Dislikes

Like:

1. I like that he's not the former President.
2. I jokingly tell my friends (with a grain of truth) it's nice to have a President who can read a teleprompter and deliver a speech that is (mostly) free of non-sequiturs and rambling.
3. Policy-wise it's still too early in his first term for me to make any policy evaluations, right now he's getting the benefit of the doubt

Dislike:
1. I dislike some of the overall direction he seems to be setting.
2. I dislike the constant back-handed slandering of all the work the non-political government employees did in fighting COVID-19. There is a degree of revisionist thinking/gaslighting going on there that I find typical of politicians.

Undecided:
1. I find the lack of public appearances and press conferences kinda strange and don't quite yet know what to make of it.
2. I find Jen Psaki an irritating swamp creature - yet another in a long string of congenital congenial liars (which is pretty much the description I apply to all PR flacks regardless of party or employer)

Amused:
1. Though this isn't directly related to Mr. Biden, I am entertained by the gyrations that some liberals in general are going through in their attempt to gaslight the public, excusing things in Biden they would not have excused in Trump. Of course, this is why I hold all political parties at an arms length and with a vague sense of contempt.

No likes huh? None? You can find NOTHING to like done by the Biden administration? When someone called you a Trumptard he was wrong. What he should have said was ultra right-wing partisan. Even the donald did some things (even though they were few and far between) I agreed with.

But let get to my likes/dislikes of the Biden administration:

I like that he is going to reinstate and honor DACA. I think it totally abhorrent that these people didn't have a say in coming here, were raised here, for all intents and purposes are Americans, were promised a path to citizenship because they had become productive citizens, but on a whim were told they weren't going to get that chance? Fuck that. We as a nation promised, we as a nation need to deliver.

I dislike his lax policies on illegal immigration. both Clinton and Obama opposed unregulated immigration. We can't have people pouring over the borders without going through official channels and immigration protocol.

I like the fact that he will be considering citizenship for those from other countries that have served honorably in our armed forces. In case you didn't know there is a big number of veterans who served in our armed forces (some even retired) but were deported after they got out. What kind of horse shit is that? I believe if they fought for this country they should go to the head of the line for citizenship.

I like that he is shutting down mining, drilling on and selling some of our federal land that should remain wilderness.

I dislike that he is curtaining almost all such activities on federal and that has been and should be managed as multi-use and allow those activities on that land.

I like the idea he is standing up to Putin, China and North Korea. The Donald didn't have a clue on how to do International Relations. And FYI we aren't looking weak, we're again looking like the nation we should be and not a corporation whos only concern is money.

I could go on, but I think you get my drift.

Pretty sure, I haven't said anything that would indicate that. Just bc I don't like Biden's policies so far, does not make me an ultra right wing partisan. Not only am I'm not only not "ultra right wing"..... I'm not even close to "right wing"
