I'll vote against anyone running against Donald Trump or any Republican in office, so I'll sit back and watch the Democrats do whatever they are going to do on this. I'll admit to irritation that Biden is apparently sticking to his "run again" determination. From the get go I held that he was great--for one term. That he was too old for a second term, and without declaring he was out, so that he wouldn't be treated as a lame duck, he should have been set up to pull other possibilities out earlier this year. That said, I'll gladly support and vote for him--as long as the Republican won't abandon the rotten Donald Trump.
I'm doubly irritated with this "gotta cut off duties at 8:00 p.m." business. This is declaring that he already can't cut it. (I'm not panicked. A president isn't flying solo. He's on top of a full staff who have stuck with their jobs and are doing their jobs). I worked an "on duty 24/7" job for four years not long before retirement--one with a whole lot fewer duties and less intensity (although some lives on the line intensity) than the president's job, and I know that you can't close shop at 8:00 p.m. and be doing such a job.
Other than really having needed him to counter the Trump nonsense, I felt about him the same why I did about Justice Ginsburg. They did great. Give them a few last years of peace. Don't make them die in office just because they were so needed. Make others step up to the plate.

Biden absolutely needs to be the one running for reelection for the democrat party. My biggest worry is that they will replace him; hopefully he hangs in there for the next few months.

And he just took in 300 million in campaign donations. Hmmmmm Wonder why he hasnt come out and said who is VP is going to be? Has there ever been a presidential canidate who has waited this long to bring on a Running mate?
