That is a report based on speculation that the entire inventory was still in the country and that the Taliban took control of it all.

If that list is accurate it's not as bad as we're led to believe.

Hmmwvs are overpriced pieces of crap, MRAPS not a good thing to turn over

I didn't see any M1 or M-2 bradley fighting vehicles or tanks.

113s, 577s vietnam era but still hold lots of utility especially as mortar platforms with machine guns

Also didn't see any MA deuces in the machine gun category. M240s and 249s are good weapons platforms, m203s is a good weapon.

Mortars and artillery pieces not a good thing to turn over. Taliban will love 60mm mortars, lite and very mobile

Commo or any other comsec equipment not a good thing to turn over, probably the old singcars family radios, still good radios, encrypted.

Didn't see any javelins, AT-4s or anti aircraft systems ( manpack stingers )

Although there's a lot of the stuff it's not our best stuff, still expensive and deadly in the right hands

No AH-64s or UH-60s, MIs are Russian made

That's not accurate. Inventory and readiness reports are on going on most of that equipment. There are property runs that account for that equipment by USA and serial numbers. Artillery pieces are maintained, borecoped and rounds fired are tracked. Maintenance requirements and records are maintained at depot and unit level on each piece of equipment IAW 750-1. Mission capable status is also track on all reportable items so commanders can fight their units. Weapons are account for by serial number. Combat loses are still investigated and tracked as accurate as possible and float numbers are re-adjusted. The shit just doesn't sit there. But if Biden says drop everything and get the fuck out, well, you surrendered all that stuff.

You're correct. But the report RG provided wasn't about inventory. It was a budgetary report listing equipment purchased for the effort since 2001.

I doubt even a quarter of that equipment is still in the country.
