....the chance to donate blood. What to do? It's a sick dilemma, though I'm sure that many in the medical profession feel it's necessary. The funny thing is that it's male-to-male contact after the year 1976 or 1977, I'm trying to recall which. If you've fucked a guy before then, it's kosher with the blood drives.

That's quite a dilemma, kid. Take all the time you need to figure it out. And remember-- experiment safely!

Actually, I'm older than you'd think. But yes, it is a moral dilemma. Mostly because I like to donate blood. Though if I visit my parents' country (France), I'll have to forget about it anyway. Fuck it, I'll give a lot of blood first, and then do those things.

Oh, and I would never do anyone casually without a rubber, male or female.

It's 1977, and it's fucking stupid. Women are also affected, they cannot donate if they have had sex with a man who has had sex with a man, even once, since 1977.

Yeah, but women can come back and donate again in a year, assuming they don't seem to have picked up HIV in the process, according to the American Red Cross. Men, however, are magically tainted for life or something.

Ah, I didn't realize it wasn't a permanent deferral, thank you.
