Be driving the better half to the hospital tonight, here's hoping she doesn't die of something horrible.

that's bad news, of course. I always wonder, though, why someone stops and posts to a discussion board first.

Sure, if we were dropping everything to rush over because her appendix esploded or something. As it was, I had a minute to straighten up.

Anyways, thanks, I guess. Crisis averted.

Glad to know that all is well :)

This time of year is especially dangerous for me, as I am severely allergic to cranberries. Not only do I break out in hives, but my throat can swell shut and if I'm not treated immediately I can go into anaphylaxis shock.

One year when I was in grad school and didn't get home for Thanksgiving, I went to a pot luck with other grad students who were stuck away from home. They ended up spending part of the evening with me at the local hospital because I ate an orange-cranberry muffin without asking about the ingredients first. I carried an epi pen for many years after that.

That's good! :rose:

It's the Internet, so ... you never know with some folks!

Oh wow; I had a girlfriend that broke into hives whenever she drank alcohal, so she carried pills around with her. But cranberries; fuck. Just the other day ago my delicious beef tips in savory sauce had cranberries laced in the French cut beans. Whose idea was that, I ask you?
