oh yeah i forgot they always go live at midnight PCT. But the day is what I was thinking of.

Probably true, but you can't control it. The site feeds categories as evenly as it can over the week, so it's always going to be, best day if you're lucky.

Everyone else is always yesterday for me, anyway, so it's not something I ever think about. I submit when the story is ready, not before.

In terms of getting traction?

This used to be a thing before the insanity of AI and unpredictable queues. Many people who submitted their stories would ask for their story to be published on Friday-Sunday, ideally on Saturday. Weekend used to be the time of the week with the most active readers. I guess it still is.
