Okay, a holiday thread. What is the best thing you have ever eaten on Thanksgiving? Or what is your most memorable Thanksgiving experience?

Well, Carnidal...the best thing I ever ate for Thanksgiving was my OWN dressing! Am I bragging? Oh, yea...because this was the first year I cooked it and let me tell you, everyone was impressed!

The best thing I've ever eaten was home made dinner rolls that I made!

The best thing I've ever had for Thanksgiving is my aunt's home made biscuts... closely followed by my mom's devilled eggs.

In 2003, my fiance made a fake turkey out of fake meat, stuffing, onions and spices, then encased it in puff pastry so that it was shaped like a turkey. It was the best I ever had.

Then, after dinner, she announced that she wanted to have a baby. That moment ultimately led to the downfall of our relationship, as I was not sure whether I wanted children. Now we are apart. But, oh, that puff pastry turkey!

Best thing I've ever eaten for Thanksgiving....hmmmm that's hard because usually I'm all about the Turkey, but a few years ago I had a Cranberry mousse that was beyond devine, and I generally cannot abide cranberries!

Well I love the turkey, ham, dressing, deviled eggs, rolls, etc.. But this year I think the best thing we had was the Chocolate pie. I had a recipe that we used for years, I got it from Homemaking class back in high school. But we lost the recipe. So me and my aunt have both been looking for one that is as good as that one was. We both had Hershey's cookbooks, looked in other cook books and checked online. Well this year I finally found one online and it is sooooooooo good and it is so simple. In fact I made another one yesterday!
