Kyle Ramsey lay up his legs on the black leather coach as he smiled at Joe Masters. They where partners in Masters & Ramsey Architects. They also where good friends. Which was strange. Joe was the opposite of Kyle. He was the typical family man with wife and two children. Kyle was a bachelor and was happy to stay single. The closest thing he had as a relationship was with his best friend Kinsey Gray. She was the first woman he had as a friend without the complications of sex. Or almost no sex that is.

16 weeks earlier it had gone quite complicated. Both Kyle and Kinsey had to much to drink on a party and the evening ended with them making out on their hosts balcony. Some of the events was blank in Kyle's memory but he remembered that he had never enjoyed a woman more than that evening with Kinsey. Neither he or she had mentioned what had happened ever since. He was not sure she remembered. They had a lot to drink afterall.

"So she have invited you for dinner?" Joe said with a smile.

"Yeah and i hope i will survive the experience. She is the worse cook i know." Kyle had no idea why she had invited him to her place for dinner. They usually ate out. She was well aware of her lack of skill in the kitchen.

"Have you told her of the offer from Houston? That you are thinking of moving there." Joe's voice held the concern of a mutual friend. He knew that Kinsey wouldn't like that Kyle thought of moving to another city.

"I plan to tell her today." Kyle was nervous as hell. Moving from Denver to Houston was a big step and he was not sure what to do. The offer from a big firm in Houston meant a step up for his career but Denver was a good city to live in. One other thing. Kinsey lived here.

"Good luck with that my friend." Joe said with a smile.

The same evening Kyle Ramsey stood outside Kinsey Gray's apartment. He was dressed in grey pants and a white t-shirt. His long dark hair was put up in a ponytail. He take a deep breath and ring the door bell.

Kinsey Gray. She had lived in Denver almost her entire life, and she planned to live there at least into the near future. She was a quiet girl, unless you got her drunk. With a close circle of friends she kept to herself, but out of all of them no one kept her interest like Kyle. The whole time they had been friends Kinsey had always lusted after him.

When they had gotten drunk a few months ago, and Kinsey remembered more of it then she had let on. They had ended up on the balcony, his hands all over her body...she shuddered.

"Kinsey where do you keep the plates?" a voice pulled her from her reverie. "THe counter above the sink, thanks again Diana, I owe you." she managed as she ran to her room and got changed. "Everythings done, all you have to do is pour the wine," Diana called from the kitchen before Kinsey had a chance to get to the kitchen she heard the front door close.

"Alright Kinsey," she sighed fixing her jet black hair for the millionth time. She looked good, damn good in fact. A red tank top, which looked more like a piece of fabric around her middle attached to one over breasts, which seemed to be almost bursting out. A short black skirt hugged her ass and with a matching thong she was dressed to kill.

"Watch out Kyle..." she laughed to herself as she applied some lipstick.

Kyle grew more restless as he waited for her to open the door. There was no reason to feel this way he muttered. She was a friend, nothing more. Not even that one incident had changed that. She had treated him no different when he met her a few days after the party. The fact that he couldn't forget it meant nothing.

What was taking her so long to open the damn door? The longer she took the more nervous and restless he got. Why had she invited him home for dinner. She had done it once before and he did not think she was fooled when he told her that the food was delicious.

Kyle straighened up as the door swung open. The sight in the doorway almost killed him off. He had never seen Kinsey dressed like she was now. Not around him anyway. He did not even know she had such sexy clothes in her wardrobe. He felt warm and blushed and got even redder by the thought that he blushed like a school girl with a crush.

"Hello Kinsey." He looks her up and down.

"Thought for a moment i got to the wrong apartment."

Kyle walk in and closes the door behind him.
