Best Mojito in the world.

I have just surpassed my previous mojito goodness with the damn tastiest mojito EVER!

I followed that basic bacardi mojito recipe for their original except I went out and got a fresh peach from my peach tree, cut it in half and then sliced one of the halves into thin slices. I muddled that in with the mint, lime, sugar and rum then toped with ice and club soda. OMG it's to tasty. The fresh peach doesn't overpower it at all but add a nice compliment...

Ok everyone, come over for a mojito and we'll chat and watch movies.

And, since I got the recipe down I made a whole pitcher of peach mojito. That way I can stop mixing em one glass at a time and in case any more subbies come over it's in the fridge... Ice is already in it too.

A sweet, zippy lil peach and mint mojito with lime.... yummy!

I'll have to try a mint julep some day but after next weekend all my cocktails are going to be the virgin variety.

My buddies birthday celebration and after that we're both getting on a health and exercise kick for the rest of the year prolly. Hiking, bicycling, lifting, etc....

I think I'm already getting mentally prepared for it. that whole pitcher of peach mojitos sat in the fridge all night. I like the fresh mint a lot and should get a little mint herb garden for my windowsill in the kitchen. All that's growing in there right now are those melons that I need to transplant outside.
