Best kind of rope?

Anyway, what's the best type of rope for bondage?

Sort of depends on your own preference and what kind of bondage you're going to be using it for. I like jute and hemp. Synthetic ones can be easier to handle and require less maintenance, but are often also more slippery in my experience.

I guess it depends on how complex of tying you are doing, but I've typically preferred nylon

I'm attending a quick rope bondage demo and have no idea what type of rope to get. I don't want to look stupid.
Now... off to the hardware store

I'm fond of tubular webbing for that "wrapped up in a ribbon" look.
