I was just out to pick up some Benadryl for my "Benatini" and had to smile at all the young folk that were dressed up and headed out to Halloween parties.

Thought I'd create a thread to share Halloween memories. Best, worst, weirdest...scariest. Whatever you like. Have at 'er!

One of my funnest Halloweens was the first one I shared with L. We got called at the last minute for a party of stunt folks, so we had no real costumes prepared and just went as beach bums. Our buddies had rented a stretch limo for everyone but four of them were dressed as CHiPs and had brought their go-peds along. As we cruised through downtown Vancouver, our faux cops rode ahead of the limo, on their go-peds, and stopped traffic at every intersection, while we hung out of the limo roof in various poses. How on earth we all managed to not get arrested that evening remains a mystery...but it sure was fun!

This is a go-ped, BTW...

Um, I'd say probably the best Halloween, ever, was the first year we had a Halloween party. I was in 7th grade, and really wanted to be popular and several of the popular girls showed up to my party and had a great time. Of course, they changed their mind over the weekend, and told everyone the party was 'okay', but I floated for a whole weekend.

These days I'm just really looking forward to the kids being too old to trick or treat, and me getting to just sit at home and hand out candy.

Um, 2 years ago I think. All my friends and me were too busy on Halloween, so we had a costume party a week later. It was a just a good, clean, fun party. Those are pretty rare you know. Didn't have to take any keys from drunkerds, didn't have to check any guys from being too grabby, just chilled and had lots of fun.

One of my friends got married on Halloween 2008 and had a costumed reception. I was her maid of honor. I wore a crimson dress at the wedding and a Wonder Woman costume at the reception.

The first Village Halloween parade I participated in as a commissioned artist. Surreal.
